productivity goals, and maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements\nRESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES\nSupervise Receiving Inspection personnel inspecting and testing component parts, kits, and subassemblies to ensure safe, effective operations\nSort, inspect, test, and determine the disposition of rejected parts and components as needed\nIdentify out-of-tolerance conditions and coordinate corrective actions\nReview nonconforming product and scrap data to identify unusual patterns and trends\nReview and approve inspection reports completed by the Receiving Inspection team\nMonitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to management\nCoordinate priorities and staffing with Finished Goods Inspections and Conversions to meet daily goals and provide leadership coverage as needed\nCollaborate with Quality Engineering to develop and improve procedures, processes, work instructions, inspection plans, and reports\nParticipate in Material Review Board meetings and oversee the scrapping of parts as authorized by the board\nAssist Production with quality issues and coordinate third-party rework, including documentation and notification of costs charged back to suppliers\nDetermine the disposition of production rejects and return-to-vendor (RTV) items and enter records into ProductionWare (Matrix)\nDocument shipping damage and record parts placed on Quality Hold in the appropriate database\nAssist Manufacturing and Engineering in resolving process and operational concerns\nLead by example and promote open communication, trust, and a positive team environment\nHelp maintain clean, organized work areas, keep aisles and walkways clear, and conduct regular safety audits\nAssist with processing time-off requests through the time management system while maintaining appropriate departmental staffing\nEnsure personnel complete required training on new and updated procedures in the Learning Management System (Litmos)\nEnsure compliance with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and Pride policies and procedures\nReinforce Lean principles and Visual Factory practices, including 5S and visual controls\nAssist with maintaining required administrative records and documents for assigned areas of responsibility\nAssist Management with documenting and communicating objectives, positively impacting employee morale, motivating team members, conducting performance appraisals, addressing individual or group performance issues, and consistently enforcing company policies, procedures, best practices, and applicable law\nEnsure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management\nComplete the annual CTPAT Security Training\nAssign, train, and develop employees based on experience and departmental goals\nAssist with developing goals and objectives, and measuring outcomes to ensure goals are preferred\nAt least 3 years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing related environment preferred\nAt least 1 year of experience utilizing six sigma or seven basic quality tools
