The work is hands-on and split between manual and automated testing.\nKey responsibilities\nReview requirements and user stories, and raise gaps or unclear acceptance criteria before development starts.\nWrite and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.\nCarry out functional, exploratory, cross-browser, and responsive testing of web applications.\nBuild and maintain automated UI tests with Selenium, Cypress, or a similar framework.\nTest REST APIs with Postman, covering positive, negative, and edge cases.\nLog clear, reproducible defects with steps, evidence, and severity, and verify each fix.\nRun smoke and regression tests before every release.\nReport test progress, coverage, and open risks to the client team, in writing and in team meetings.\n\nEducationBachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering\nA bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related subject, or equivalent practical experience\n\nExperience2 to 5 years\nThe applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Software Company, IT Enabled Service, Consulting Firms\n\nAdditional RequirementsRequirements\nMust have\n2+ years of hands-on experience in software testing or QA.\nSolid manual testing skills: test case design, exploratory testing, and regression testing.\nWorking experience with at least one UI automation framework: Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.\nAPI testing experience with Postman or a similar tool.\nExperience with a defect tracker such as Jira and with Agile or Scrum teams.\nGood written and spoken English.
