Title: Electrical Team Lead \n\nLocation: Alaba Coker, Lagos\n\nAbout the Role\n\n The Electrical Team Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating all electrical maintenance activities to ensure the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of production equipment, utilities, and electrical systems.\n\n The role provides technical leadership to the electrical maintenance team, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum equipment availability to support production targets.\n\n The incumbent will drive electrical reliability, execute maintenance plans, and collaborate with Production, Engineering, Utilities, and Quality teams to achieve operational excellence.\n\nPrimary Duties & Responsibilities\n\n Assemble, Evaluate, Test and Maintain electrical components.\n\n Troubleshoot and rectify electrical related issues.\n\n Interpret electrical diagrams or schematics to identify potential electrical failures.\n\n Ensure strategic preventive maintenance plans are in place.\n\n Conduct routine inspection of electrical system as recommended by OEM.\n\n Address electrical as well as operational problems in a timely and effective manner.\n\n Ensure adequate supervision and apt completion of all maintenance duties.\n\n Maintain accurate maintenance records and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency\n\n Monitor and maintain PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, sensors, instrumentation, and power distribution systems.\n\n Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.\n\n Support installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical and automation systems.\n\n Perform other duties as required\n\nQualifications & Requirements\n\n Bachelor's Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.\n\n Minimum of 5-8 years' experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.\n\n At least 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.\n\n Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, PLCs, instrumentation, and automation systems.\n\n Proven experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.\n\n Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical and automation faults in a timely manner.\n\n Experience with maintenance planning, CMMS, and root cause analysis methodologies.\n\n Good understanding of electrical safety regulations, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and HSE requirements.\n\n Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\n\n Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., COREN, NSE) is an added advantage.\n\n Preferred: Experience in
