Since then Prima has been exceeding market growth, year on year, and has established a position as the clear market leader in this industry.\n\nWe are recruiting to fill the position below:\n\nJob Title: Warehouse Supervisor - Raw Material \n\nLocation: Alaba Coker, Lagos\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nDepartment: Supply Chain\n\nAbout the Role\n\nThe Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods. You are responsible for a vital part of the supply chain process, you'll manage people, processes and systems in order to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately, and that productivity targets are met.\nThe Warehouse Supervisor is to provide high level of inventory and warehouse management expertise that will enable us to gain and maintain competitive edge over competition.\nYou'll also be responsible for workplace health and safety standards, housekeeping and for the security of the building and stock.\n\nRequirements\n\nWarehouse Operations:\n\nCoordinate and monitor the receipt, storage, movement, and dispatch of raw and packaging materials.\nOptimize the utilization of warehouse resources, including manpower, forklifts, storage space, and materials.\nPerform any other duties as assigned by management.\nLiaise with Engineering to ensure prompt repair and maintenance of warehouse equipment, minimizing downtime.\nEnsure timely and accurate material issuance to support uninterrupted production operations.\n\nStock & Inventory Management:\n\nConduct routine stock counts, reconciliations, and inventory investigations to resolve discrepancies.\nMonitor and enforce FIFO/FEFO principles while implementing initiatives to minimize waste, losses, and stock expiries.\nMaintain accurate inventory records and ensure effective stock control, achieving a minimum Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA) of 95% monthly.\nEnsure stock control systems are updated and inventory transactions are accurately recorded.\n\nFacility, Housekeeping, Health, Safety & Environment:\n\nSupport the operation and maintenance of warehouse management systems and material handling equipment.\nOversee housekeeping activities, including waste disposal and pallet area management.\nMaintain a safe, secure, and organized warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with HSE standards.\nEnsure proper storage, handling, and preservation of raw and packaging materials.\n\nRelationship Management:\n\nLiaise with suppliers, transporters, and relevant service providers as required.\nCollaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, Logistics, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient warehouse operations.\nSupport the timely resolution of operational issues and internal customer concerns.\n\nData Management & Reporting:\n\nGenerate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse performance reports, including space utilization, inventory accuracy, and blocked/scrapped stock reports.\nCoordinate the use of warehouse management and inventory control systems.\nBrief team leaders regularly on operational performance, priorities, and improvement initiatives.\n\nTeam Management & Compliance:\n\nEnsure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and customer standards.\nPromote teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement within the warehouse team.\nSupervise, coach, and develop warehouse personnel to ensure high productivity and adherence to operational standards.\nMonitor employee performance and identify training and development needs.\n\nInternal & External Policy Compliance:\n\nManage compliance requirements for internal and external customers Qualifications & Requirements\nHave a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these.\nMinimum of 5 years' experience in warehouse or inventory management within a manufacturing environment.\nBsc/HND/OND Accounting/Business Administration/Purchasing & Supply or its equivalent.\nGood understanding of warehouse safety and operational best practices.\nExperience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.\nStrong supervisory and team management experience.\nKnowledge of inventory control principles,
