Because Primark is all about tailoring to you, we offer Tax Saver Tickets, fitness centre, and a subsidised cafeteria.\n The International Payroll Operations Manager is responsible for the end-to-end operational delivery of our international payrolls, working with stakeholders to deliver best in class payroll services.\nKey Responsibilities:\nBuild and maintains a strong high-performing team.\nManage the payroll process for supported countries from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate processing, delivery and reconciliation.\nReview and approve payrolls in line with compliance and control processes.\nContinually look for areas of improvement within the international payroll operations process.\nTake the lead in new markets and new store implementations for payroll.\nLead/support with Global Payroll Team meetings/calls.\nStabilisation of new markets/stores by successfully transitioning them into existing processes.\nManages the day-to-day operational relationship with our payroll vendors and escalate any poor delivery performance to Regional Managers and Global Process owner.\nEnsure processing of bank files and payments to employees and various third parties such as tax authorities.\nSupport in case of labour inspections and payroll audits.\nTesting system upgrades and new functionality rollouts, ensuring updates to statutory rules are implemented within the payrolls and communicated to stores.\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders to deliver payroll accurately and on time.\nResponsible for payroll calendars and deadlines whilst being aware of tax, social security and bank holiday deadlines for all mainland Europe.\nHelp minimise costs by identifying tasks that could be managed internally instead of being delegated to suppliers.\nFirst escalation point to support with payroll discrepancies.\nSupport/Lead projects as necessary.\n Qualifications, Experience and Skills:\nMinimum 7 years’ experience of managing EMEA payrolls and payroll systems.\nCIPP qualified or equivalent.\nStrong project management experience.\nDemonstrable experience of managing and coaching individuals and teams in high pace environments\nAbility to lead and influence others\nAbility to build effective working relationships with both internal and external Effective and persuasive written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in an understandable manner to all areas of the business\nAbility to lead teams to deliver tasks at pace whilst maintaining focus on quality service\nDemonstrates Primark behaviours and values, with sound judgement, unquestionable ethics and integrity with a high degree of transparency and trust. \nA solid understanding of efficient and effective payroll processes\nProblem solver with an ability to identify and embed process improvements\nDemonstrates a flexible mindset with a positive, proactive attitude\nxcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure whilst maintaining strong personal focus on detail and accuracy\nExcellent excel/MS Skills. \nDemonstrates a hands-on approach to problem solving. \nDetailed company and legislative knowledge. \nAbility in managing sensitive matters whilst ensuring all Primark information remains confidential to the business. \n Does this sound like you?
