Provide flexible support to senior payroll team including support on data uploads to the payroll system to high level of accuracy.\n Key Responsabilities\nHelp ensure that all store payrolls (including own store payrolls) are delivered to a high standard of accuracy and in accordance with current Spain and Portugal legislations, company regulations and collective agreements.\nFollowing detailed payroll checking procedures across all areas such as report production, payroll checking and correction, sickness processing, etc.\nProvide flexible support to the Iberia payroll team.\nLiaise with governing and statutory bodies as required for any research.\nCarry out Time-pro, WD data validations and any uploads.\nAssist with tax year end duties such as balance reconciliations and tax control accounts.\nProcess timely payments to employees and authorities in both Spain and Portugal.\nPayroll/Finance reconciliations.\nWrite, modify and produce reports for Payroll and wider business such as sickness reconciliation reporting from FIE data, trade unions, dismissal.\nAssisting the team as needed during internal and external payroll audits.\nContinuously embracing system and process improvements to boost payroll delivery, accuracy and compliance.\nOther duties as may be required\n Experience & Skills\nSignificant experience in a payroll operational team. Ideally minimum of 2 years, more is a plus\nKnowledge of current labor law in both Spain and Portugal\nSuccessful candidates should be degree in labour relations, business Administration or related studies\nIntermediate English-speaking level.\nAdvance level of Microsoft Excel\nUp to date working knowledge of payroll practices.\nExperience of problems that can affect payroll and experience of resolving common payroll issues.\nExperience of tax year end practices and requirements.\nAbility to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.\nAbility to communicate effectively at all levels, both written and spoken.\nAbility to work on own initiative as well as part of a wider team, whilst managing workloads and remaining flexible.\nDetailed knowledge of payroll rules and common payroll problems that can occur.\nStrong analytical ability.\nAbility to influence and interact well with team members.\nOrganizational and time management skills in managing multiple, diverse and sometimes conflicting priorities.\nAbility to make decisions in a timely manner.\nDemonstrates Primark behaviours and values, sound judgement with unquestionable ethics and integrity with a high degree of transparency and trust.\n\nHighly organised, detail-oriented, possessing the ability to effectively prioritise projects and deliverables whilst meeting deadlines. \nExcellent attention to detail\nBe a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal/communication skills.\nProven ability in developing effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.\n Al igual que nuestra moda, nuestra cultura se adapta a cada individuo.
