Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:\nLead end-to-end delivery of D&A technology components-including data products, platform enhancements, integrations, and analytics-while aligning to strategic project objectives.\nOversee multimillion-pound project budgets (£2m-£6m), ensuring accurate forecasting, cost control, and timely variance management.\nDevelop and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, deliverables, timelines, risks, issues, dependencies, and resource needs, ensuring adherence to Primark’s governance and technical standards.\nDirect and motivate cross-functional teams, clarifying roles, ensuring quality assurance of deliverables, and building strong working relationships across business, tech, and supplier groups.\nProvide regular stakeholder reporting, highlighting progress, risks, mitigations, and insights to influence decision-making and maintain delivery momentum.\nManage external vendors and internal stakeholders, negotiate contracts, track KPIs and benefits realisation, and coach team members to support their professional growth.\n What You’ll Bring\nHere at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued - so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular:\nBring 5+ years’ experience delivering complex technology projects-particularly within Data & Analytics across defined scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards, with strong stakeholder and communication skills.\nDemonstrate deep D&A expertise, including data platforms, migrations, modelling, governance, and analytics, with hands-on exposure to cloud technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI.\nApply solid understanding of data architecture, operating models, and retail data domains (product, customer, inventory, pricing, forecasting, etc.) to guide effective technology delivery.\nOperate confidently across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models, driving governance, sprint planning, backlog management, and acceptance criteria for data products.\nManage multiple workstreams in parallel while building relationships with senior stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams within a complex matrix environment.\nBenefit from leading a strategically significant programme within a major retail brand, gaining senior leadership exposure and working in a collaborative culture that values delivery excellence.\nDoes this sound like you?
