Let’s see what impact you can make!\n Purpose of the role\nThe Talent Acquisition Manager, Iberia is responsible for leading and delivering Talent Acquisition strategies and recruitment outcomes across Spain and Portugal, ensuring the business attracts, engages and hires high-quality talent to support both operational and strategic growth objectives.\nReporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, Iberia, Italy & CEE, the role acts as a trusted partner to business leaders and People & Culture teams, translating regional and global Talent Acquisition priorities into effective market-level delivery.\nThe role provides leadership across all retail Talent Acquisition activity in Iberia, including management recruitment, internal mobility, talent pipelining, employer branding, new store openings and recruitment transformation initiatives. Through strong stakeholder partnerships, market insight and data-led decision making, the Talent Acquisition Manager drives hiring excellence, enhances candidate experience and strengthens Primark's position as an employer of choice across the region.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nTalent Acquisition Strategy & Delivery\nLead the delivery of Talent Acquisition strategies across Iberia, ensuring alignment with regional priorities, business plans and workforce requirements.\nPartner with People & Culture and business leaders to anticipate hiring demand and develop proactive talent attraction solutions.\nEnsure recruitment activity supports organisational growth, succession planning and long-term talent requirements.\nDrive recruitment performance through effective workforce planning, talent pipelining and market mapping activities.\nIdentify opportunities to improve hiring outcomes, efficiency and quality through continuous improvement initiatives.\nStakeholder Partnership\nBuild strong and credible relationships with senior operational leaders, People & Culture teams and key stakeholders across Iberia.\nAct as a trusted advisor on Talent Acquisition matters, providing expertise on talent markets, recruitment strategies and hiring best practices.\nSupport leaders in making objective, high-quality hiring decisions that align with business and talent objectives.\nInfluence and challenge stakeholders appropriately to ensure effective workforce and talent decisions.\nInternal Mobility & Talent Development\nLead and govern internal recruitment and talent movement processes across Iberia.\nFacilitate the identification and progression of internal talent, supporting career development and succession planning initiatives.\nEnsure consistent and fair assessment processes are applied across internal recruitment activities.\nChampion internal mobility as a key component of Primark's talent strategy.\nNew Store Openings & Business Growth\nProvide Talent Acquisition leadership for new store openings and major expansion projects across Iberia.\nDevelop recruitment plans that support successful store launches while ensuring strong candidate quality and operational readiness.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to deliver recruitment milestones and workforce requirements for new business initiatives.\nEnsure effective deployment of recruitment resources, suppliers and attraction strategies during growth periods.\nEmployer Brand & Talent Attraction\nChampion Primark's employer brand across Iberia, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging in the market.\nDevelop and implement attraction strategies that strengthen talent pipelines across key target audiences.\nBuild external partnerships with educational institutions, community organisations and other talent networks to expand market reach.\nSupport the delivery of regional and global employer branding initiatives while adapting approaches to local market needs.\nRecruitment Excellence & Continuous Improvement\nDrive a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience across all recruitment activities.\nMonitor recruitment performance through data, insights and key metrics, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.\nLead initiatives that improve hiring effectiveness, recruitment processes and operational efficiency.\nSupport the implementation and adoption of Talent Acquisition technologies, systems and new ways of working.\nPromote consistency, governance and best practice across all recruitment activity.\nVendor & Budget Management\nManage relationships with recruitment partners, agencies and external suppliers to ensure quality, value and performance.\nDrive a direct hiring approach where appropriate, reducing reliance on third-party recruitment channels.\nMaintain effective oversight of recruitment expenditure and ensure resources are managed in line with budget expectations.\nContinuously seek opportunities to improve return on investment across attraction and recruitment activities.\n Governance & Compliance\nEnsure recruitment activities comply with relevant employment legislation, company policies and governance requirements across Spain and Portugal.\nMaintain high standards of fairness, inclusion and consistency throughout the recruitment process.\nSupport diversity and inclusion objectives through targeted attraction strategies and talent initiatives.\nSignificant experience within Talent Acquisition, Recruitment or Resourcing functions, ideally within a fast-paced, multi-site or retail environment.\nProven experience leading end-to-end recruitment strategies and delivery across multiple business areas.\nStrong experience partnering with senior business leaders and People & Culture stakeholders.\nDemonstrated success in workforce planning, talent attraction, employer branding and recruitment process optimisation.\nExperience managing recruitment projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.\nStrong understanding of recruitment metrics, workforce analytics and data-driven decision making.\nExperience supporting organisational growth, transformation or large-scale hiring programmes.\nKnowledge of relevant employment legislation and recruitment compliance requirements.\nExcellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.\nStrong commercial awareness and ability to align talent decisions with business objectives.\nHigh level of English and Spanish; Portuguese would be advantageous.\nExperience using recruitment technologies, ATS platforms and talent sourcing tools.\nLeadership Behaviours\nBuilds trusted partnerships and
