As a Visual Merchandising Manager, you’ll serve as the creative representative for visual presentation both within the store and across the board of business, partnering with the store teams and Regional VM Manager.\n What You’ll Do\nAs a Visual Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for the visual proposition across the store and lead and develop a high performing visual merchandising team. As the in-store champion for visual merchandising, you share and coach on best practices and principles that create visual displays to influence the customer journey.\nAs the leader, you will hire, train, coach and motivate a team of Visual Merchandisers. You will ensure your team is adhering to operating standards, maintain cost related to stock, and following Primark guidelines on POS and pricing for displays. The base pay rate offered will account for internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.\nTo perform the essential functions of this position, colleagues must be able to satisfy the following physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nThis position requires the ability to constantly stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift, on hard- surface floors. Colleagues must frequently bend, stoop, crouch, and reach at or above shoulder level. The role also requires frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally participating in team lifts for items weighing up to 50 pounds.\nColleagues must constantly perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, including handling and processing merchandise, operating cash registers or other point of sale systems, and using handheld devices. The position requires movement throughout the sales floor and stockroom, occasional use of stairs or ladders where applicable, and occasional work in varying temperatures, including in outdoor areas or storage spaces where applicable.\nDepending on their assigned responsibilities, colleagues may receive training on the safe use of equipment such as balers, manual pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks, and may be required to operate such equipment when properly trained and authorized.
