# Power Line Technician

Responsibilities: Reinforce company policies and ensure safe and productive completion of the work. Install, repair, and maintain electrical distribution systems. Splice, solder, insulate, and terminate conductors and wiring. Install and maintain street lighting systems. Erect and maintain poles. Plan site projects and resource requirements with the Supervisor. Coordinate material requirements and effectively manage site materials. Demonstrate technical ability and application of appropriate processes and procedures. Conduct safety meetings and assist with incident reporting and investigations as required. Provide leadership and coaching to apprentices. Maintain detailed project field documentation, reports, and job closing documents. Provide input into performance reviews for apprentices. Read and interpret electrical drawings and prints. Other duties as required. Qualifications: Red Seal Journeyman Certification as a Power Line Technician. Understanding of applicable codes and regulations. Planning skills of project completion, resource requirements, and project documentation.
