This role involves identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, monitoring and analyzing threats, and supporting the development and enforcement of security strategies across the organization. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design secure systems and respond to incidents, playing a key role in promoting a strong security posture company-wide.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, implement, and maintain security solutions and protocols to protect company assets.\nContinuously monitor network traffic and security systems to identify potential threats and breaches.\nConduct regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability analyses.\nBuild and execute test cases to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls.\nAssist with threat mitigation, remediation, and incident response efforts.\nStay current on cyber security trends, threats, and technologies.\nCommunicate and promote security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.\nEnsure new and existing systems adhere to established information security principles.\nEvaluate and report on the secure operation of enterprise applications and network infrastructure.\nMaintain and upgrade security tools and systems as needed.\nSupport firewall management and configuration.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nThis is a hybrid position with a minimum of 2 days on-site per week required.\nQualifications\nAny combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.\nKnowledge\nBasic knowledge of the trucking/transportation industry preferred.\nStrong understanding of incident response procedures and threat containment.\nFamiliarity with security frameworks such as NIST.\nExperience with Microsoft Azure Stack and cloud security principles.\nProficient in SIEM tools and log analysis.\nAbilities\nStrong customer service, multi-tasking, and organizational skills. Must be self-motivated and able to work under limited supervision effectively. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and apply knowledge in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience, Education, and Training\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field (preferred).\n2+ years of relevant technical experience in an enterprise environment\nPhysical Requirements\nThis position requires being able to sit and remain focused and motivated for long periods of time. Being able to multitask between the computer, phone, and different projects is required.\nWorking Environment\nPrimarily indoors with heating and cooling regulated in a general office environment.
