Prime Secured is hiring!\nSummary\nThe Security Technician assists the Security Installer and/or the Lead Security Technician to troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain access control systems, electronic key systems, locking devices, visitor management systems, IP video surveillance, and any other hardware related to those systems and devices.\nRequirements\nMajor Roles and Responsibilities\nIndependently install access control devices and related hardware on all doors, including low voltage electric door hardware.\nIndependently install video surveillance systems including cameras, software, switches, patch panels, and other associated devices.\nIndependently install intrusion alarm wiring, control panels, and other associated devices.\nIndependently performing scheduled preventative maintenance on access control, IP video system, and intrusion alarm systems.\nUnder supervision, program access system, and IP video surveillance, and intrusion alarm systems.\nEnsure departmental daily records are maintained and accurate.\nQualifications and Education Requirements\nA high school diploma or equivalent (vocational/technical/business school background is strongly preferred).\n1-2 years of experience with low voltage cabling.\nFamiliarity with the use of various hand and power tools.\nMust have a valid driver’s license.\nGood judgment is required.\nStrong organizational skills are required.\nExceptional customer service skills are a must.\nAdditional Notes\nProbationary period of 90 days.\nIndividuals with a felony or misdemeanor convictions MAY not be hired.\nIndividual must be able to pass a drug and physical screening as well as background requirements.\nIndividuals must not have any alcohol or drug-related convictions or suspensions within the past three years. \nPrime Secured is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
