Responsibilities include system maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and ensuring reliable operation of security technologies.\nRequirements\nMajor Roles and Responsibilities\nDiagnose and solve problems.\nTroubleshoot low voltage electric door hardware.\nIndependently install/troubleshoot video surveillance systems including cameras, software, switches, patch panels,\nand other associated devices.\nIndependently install/troubleshoot intrusion alarm wiring, control panels, and other associated devices.\nIndependently performing scheduled preventative maintenance on access control, IP video system, and intrusion\nalarm systems.\nUnder supervision, program access system, and IP video surveillance, and intrusion alarm systems.\nEnsure departmental daily records are maintained and accurate.\nOther duties as assigned. \nRequirements\nService oriented background / experience.\nA high school diploma or equivalent (vocational/technical/business school background is strongly preferred).\nFamiliarity with the use of all appropriate hand and power tools and meters.\nStrong organizational skills are required.\nExceptional customer service skills are a must. \nSecurity Experience­:3 years minimum. \nLow Voltage: ­ 2 years minimum.\nMust have a valid driver’s license.\nAbility to read, write, and understand English.\nFamiliarity with the use of all appropriate hand and power tools and meters.\nPrevious service technician role­ 2 years preferred.\nAccess control, Network device install, and Camera installation­ 2 years preferred.\nPrime Secured is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
