The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with international clients, particularly US-based companies, and be comfortable handling high-volume transactions, reconciliations, vendor management, and financial reporting.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage the complete Accounts Payable (AP) cycle, from invoice receipt and verification to payment processing.\nReview and process vendor invoices while ensuring accuracy, proper approvals, and compliance with company policies.\nPerform 3-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents.\nMaintain accurate vendor records and resolve invoice discrepancies promptly.\nPrepare and process vendor payments while ensuring adherence to agreed payment terms.\nPerform vendor statement reconciliations and investigate outstanding balances.\nConduct regular AP reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.\nMaintain accurate AP aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.\nCoordinate with vendors, internal finance teams, procurement, and other stakeholders to resolve payment-related issues.\nHandle queries from international clients and vendors, particularly US-based stakeholders.\nEnsure compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.\nAssist with audits by providing required AP documentation and supporting schedules.\nPrepare and maintain AP reports, dashboards, and other financial reports as required.\nIdentify opportunities to improve AP processes, controls, and efficiency.\nMaintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.\nExperience supporting US accounting operations and familiarity with US-based accounting practices.\nExperience working in a BPO, shared services, outsourcing, or managed services environment.\nACCA, CA, CMA, or other relevant accounting qualification/certification is a plus.\nExperience working with US time zones and international stakeholders is preferred.\n4-6 years of professional experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role.\nProven experience working with international clients, preferably US-based clients/companies.\nStrong understanding of the end-to-end Accounts Payable process.\nHands-on experience with invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, payment processing, and AP aging.\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.\nExperience with accounting/ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Xero, or similar platforms.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and reconciliation.\nStrong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nAbility to work independently while effectively collaborating with international
