The role involves supporting multi-site businesses with branch offices, warehouses, and distribution facilities where reliable network connectivity is critical to daily operations.\nYou will be responsible for managing network infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, switching, wireless networks, virtualization platforms, and serve;r connectivity. The position also involves troubleshooting technical issues, executing infrastructure projects, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining network security and documentation.\nThis is a hands-on technical role requiring strong networking fundamentals, independent problem-solving abilities, and experience supporting multiple customer environments, preferably within a Managed Service Provider (MSP).\nKey Responsibilities:\n1. Network Operations and Monitoring\nPerform daily network health checks and monitor network dashboards for connectivity issues, WAN outages, DNS misconfigurations, IP conflicts, and hardware alerts.\nMonitor and respond to alerts through network monitoring and remote management platforms.\nTroubleshoot internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, LAN, and branch network performance issues.\nMaintain and update firmware across network infrastructure.\nConfigure monitoring and alerting systems to ensure network incidents are identified and addressed promptly.\n2. Firewalls, Routing, and VPN\nAdminister Cisco Meraki MX appliances across multiple customer locations.\nConfigure and manage VLANs, DHCP scopes, reservations, firewall rules, NAT, port forwarding, traffic shaping, and uplink preferences.\nBuild and maintain Meraki AutoVPN connections between branch locations.\nManage Meraki vMX deployments in Microsoft Azure, including Azure route tables.\nConfigure and troubleshoot remote access VPN solutions using Cisco Secure Client (AnyConnect).\nImplement Microsoft Entra ID SAML authentication, certificates, and DNS failover for VPN connectivity.\nTroubleshoot VPN connectivity and authentication issues.\n3. Switching and Wireless Infrastructure\nConfigure and manage VLANs, trunk ports, and network profiles across Meraki and Ubiquiti UniFi switches.\nManage UniFi controllers, wireless access points, SSIDs, mesh configurations, and point-to-point wireless bridges.\nConfigure voice VLANs, DHCP reservations, and network segmentation for phones, payment terminals, and security cameras.\nTroubleshoot switching, wireless connectivity, and network performance issues.\n4. Datacenter and Virtualization\nMaintain and monitor colocation datacenter infrastructure, including UPS systems, hardware health, and WAN failover.\nAdminister VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V environments.\nManage virtual switches, port groups, snapshots, datastore capacity, and virtual machine deployments.\nManage Dell server hardware through iDRAC, including firmware, BIOS, RAID configurations, and drive replacements.\n5. Backup and Disaster Recovery\nMonitor server backup status and troubleshoot failed backup jobs.\nCoordinate with third-party backup providers to resolve backup connectivity and service issues.\nCoordinate data restoration activities and disaster recovery testing.\nConfigure isolated network environments for testing restored systems.\n6. Systems Administration and Support\nSupport Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and domain controllers.\nPerform basic Linux administration across Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Ubuntu environments.\nAssist with server migrations, storage management, LVM volume capacity, and SSH connectivity.\nTroubleshoot application connectivity, printing, and endpoint network issues.\nManage endpoint monitoring, patching, and software deployment through Datto RMM.\nProvision new PCs using ImmyBot and manage mobile devices through Meraki Systems Manager.\n7. Security and Endpoint Protection\nMonitor and investigate security alerts through MDR, EDR, and antivirus platforms.\nTriage security detections from Blackpoint Cyber, Datto EDR, RocketCyber, and SaaS Alerts.\nInvestigate Microsoft 365 security events, including suspicious inbox rules, unfamiliar MFA devices, and impossible travel alerts.\nMaintain network scanning agents and assist with security monitoring across customer environments.\n8. Projects and Vendor Coordination\nPlan and execute branch network cutovers, new-site deployments, ISP migrations, and datacenter infrastructure projects.\nCoordinate with internet service providers, network vendors, hardware suppliers, and onsite cabling contractors.\nWork with technical support teams and vendors to resolve complex infrastructure issues.\nMaintain accurate network configurations, technical documentation, and change records.\nEnsure all infrastructure changes are properly tested and documented.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of experience in network administration or network engineering.\nPrevious experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment or supporting multiple customer environments is strongly preferred.\nStrong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki infrastructure, including MX, MS, MR, and Systems Manager.\nSolid understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, NAT, DNS, DHCP, and 802.1Q VLAN trunking.\nExperience configuring and troubleshooting Meraki AutoVPN, firewall policies, and remote access VPNs.\nExperience with Cisco Secure Client (AnyConnect) and Microsoft Entra ID SAML authentication.\nHands-on experience with Ubiquiti UniFi switches, wireless access points, controllers, and gateways.\nExperience with VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platforms.\nKnowledge of Dell server hardware and iDRAC management.\nWorking knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and basic Linux administration.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to support non-technical users remotely.\nAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of technical issues until resolution.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCertifications such as CCNA, Meraki CMNA, or CompTIA Network+.\nExperience with Microsoft Azure networking, Meraki vMX, and Azure route tables.\nKnowledge of VoIP networking, voice VLANs, and Quality of Service (QoS).\nExperience with backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Datto or Veeam.\nExposure to Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Ubuntu environments.\nExperience with Microsoft 365 administration and security platforms.\nFamiliarity with Blackpoint Cyber, Datto EDR, RocketCyber, and SaaS Alerts.\nExperience with Autotask, Datto RMM, ImmyBot, and IT
