A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong capacity for working in a fast-paced, multi-client environment are essential.\nKey Responsibilities:\n Network and System Administration:\nAdminister and maintain client network infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies from vendors such as Cisco, SonicWall, Palo Alto, Juniper, F5, HP, and Aruba.\nManage and maintain server environments, both on-premises and in the cloud, using Windows Server (2008-2022) and virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V.\nSupport and administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure environments, including user management, group policies, and cloud-based services.\nImplement and maintain firewalls and VPN solutions such as Cisco AnyConnect, Meraki, SonicWall, and Fortinet to ensure secure remote access and data protection.\nSecurity and Compliance:\nMonitor, configure, and manage security protocols, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, and anti-virus solutions.\nPerform regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and patch management to ensure compliance with security best practices.\nWork with clients to develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.\nSupport and Troubleshooting:\nProvide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for system, network, and application issues.\nUse remote management tools to diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.\nTroubleshoot problems across various client environments, ranging from simple desktop issues to complex network problems.\nVirtualization and Cloud Services:\nAdminister VMWare environments, including the installation, configuration, and maintenance of virtual servers.\nProvide expertise in cloud services, particularly Azure, to support client needs for scalable and resilient infrastructure.\nCollaboration and Ticket Management:\nCollaborate with internal and external teams to provide effective IT solutions and support.\nUtilize ticketing systems such as ConnectWise, Kaseya, and ServiceNow to track, manage, and resolve support requests in an organized and timely manner.\nEnsure proper documentation of all configurations, troubleshooting efforts, and solutions in the ticketing system.\nMonitoring and Reporting:\nProactively monitor network and system performance, using monitoring tools to detect and resolve potential issues before they impact client operations.\nProvide regular reports on system performance, uptime, and security incidents to management and clients.\nRequirements\n3+ years of experience as a System and Network Administrator, with a proven track record of installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and data center technologies.\n2+ years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role, providing frontline support and resolving issues via ticketing systems.\nExpertise in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure cloud platforms, including advanced user and group management, permissions, and cloud services administration.\nIn-depth knowledge of firewall technologies and VPN solutions such as Cisco AnyConnect, Meraki, SonicWall, and Fortinet, with hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting these systems.\n Strong proficiency in VMWare and other virtualization platforms, including virtual machine setup, maintenance, and performance tuning.\nExperience managing Windows desktop and server environments (20082022), with a strong understanding of patch management, updates, and system hardening.\nProficiency with ticketing and remote management tools such as ConnectWise, Kaseya, ServiceNow, and other similar platforms.\nSolid understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations.\nStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple client systems simultaneously.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with monitoring tools and network management platforms for proactive system maintenance and issue detection.\nFamiliarity with additional virtualization technologies like Hyper-V.\nStrong understanding of disaster recovery planning and implementation.\nCertification in relevant areas such as Microsoft, Cisco, or VMware (e.g., MCSA, CCNA, VCP).\nBenefits\nHybrid Work Setup -
