Come build the future of pharmacy with us.\nJob Posting Title\nAccountant Associate - RemoteJob Description\nThe Associate Accountant supports accurate and timely financial reporting by performing month-end and year-end close activities, preparing account reconciliations and journal entries, and maintaining supporting documentation. This position also provides operational and analytical support for Medicare Part D premium billing activities and other team priorities as needed.\nResponsibilities\nPerform assigned month-end and year-end accounting close activities in accordance with established deadlines and procedures\nPrepare, document and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations and supporting schedules; research and resolve reconciling items \nReview account activity, investigate variances and escalate issues or exceptions as appropriate \nMaintain organized, accurate and audit-ready documentation for assigned accounting processes \nAssist with Medicare Part D premium billing operations, reporting, reconciliations, research and other client-related tasks as needed\nPartner with the Principal Accountant and team members on process improvements, analysis projects and ad hoc requests \nOther duties as assigned\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or related area of study or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is required\nMust be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship \nAdditional Qualifications\nWorking knowledge of Excel, including lookups, pivot tables and formulas, and proficiency with Word\nWorking knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP and financial close processes\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with general ledger, account reconciliation, premium billing or other financial systems\nExperience researching account variances, preparing journal entries and supporting reconciliations\nEvery employee must understand, comply with and attest to the security responsibilities and security controls unique to their job, and comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements and internal policies and procedures\nEvery employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and, if requested, reasonable accommodations will be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions, absent undue hardship.
