This role is suited to a technically strong electrical engineer with extensive hyperscale or mission critical data centre experience, combined with proven design management and project leadership capability.\nWhat you'll do\nElectrical Design Leadership\nLead and review the electrical design of hyperscale and mission critical data centres across all project phases.\nProvide technical expertise for HV / MV / LV electrical systems, substations, utility connections, UPS, generators, and power distribution systems.\nEnsure designs comply with applicable local codes, European standards, and client technical standards.\nReview and challenge consultant deliverables to ensure quality, constructability,\nresilience, scalability, and operational excellence.\nDesign&Project Management\nAct as the client-side engineering lead for assigned country or regional projects.\nCoordinate and manage multidisciplinary external consultants and design partners.\nDrive design progress, deliverables, programme milestones, and issue resolution.\nProvide weekly project updates, risk reports, and executive summaries to senior\nleadership.\nPermitting &Utility Coordination\nSupport and lead technical engagement with utilities, grid operators, localauthoritiesandpermittingbodies.\nManage and coordinate building permits, utility applications, and poweragreements.\nProvide technical support during construction and installation phases.\nReview RFIs, submittals, method statements, and technical deviations.\nConduct site inspections and support issue resolution during delivery.\nCommissioning&Testing\nLead andparticipatein commissioning and integrated systems testing activities across\nall commissioning levels (Levels 1-5).\nProvide client-side technical sign-off and ensure systems are deliveredin accordancewithdesign intent and operational requirements.\nGeneralRequirements\nMinimum 8-10 years of electrical engineering experience within data centre or mission critical environments.\nMinimum 5 years of client-side experience managing or leading data centre projects.\nStrong technical expertise in HV / MV / LV systems, substations, and mission critical electrical infrastructure.\nExperience delivering large-scale hyperscale or colocation data centre projects across Europe.\nStrong experience managing external consultants and multidisciplinary design teams.\nExperience supporting projects through full lifecycle delivery from concept to commissioning.\nMasters Degree in Electrical Engineering.\nChartered Engineer status or equivalent preferred.\nQualifications\nOpportunity to work on large-scale, cutting-edge data centre developments across Europe\nHigh level of ownership and autonomy\nInternational project exposure\nCollaborative and entrepreneurial working environment\nCompetitive compensation package and benefits\nBenefits\nCompetitive salary range of €140-160k along with an annual performance bonus program\n401k fully vested upon enrollment, up to a 4% employer match\n100% employee premiums paid by employer for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability\nOver 4-weeks of Paid Time Off + Sick time\nApplications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.\nPrime is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
