Working in the Back of House department the Aircraft Dispatcher must maintain all relevant training including weight and balance, dangerous goods regulations and internal airline policies. This position involves greeting arriving aircraft, attaching passenger boarding bridges, facilitating disembarkation, coordinating all stakeholders involved in the turnaround, overseeing ramp operations and aircraft loading, creating and amending loadsheets (including performing LMCs) and liaising with aircraft crew to facilitate a compliant departure. The Aircraft Dispatcher must maintain an agile, proactive and diligent approach, with a safety-first mindset and a desire to strive for service excellence.\nRole Responsibilities:\nMaintain accountability for delivering safe operations.\n\nConsistently deliver the highest possible level of customer service to client airlines.\n\nEffectively and efficiently manage aircraft turnarounds, and maintain responsibility for aircraft, passenger and staff safety and security.\n\nRemain accountable for on-time performance, including maintaining ownership for accountable/ station delays and taking actions to prevent them. Strive to minimise any accountable/ station delays and to deliver turnarounds to the specified Minimum Ground Times (MGTs).\n\nEnsure all staff members attending the aircraft turnaround are compliant with safety and security regulations set by the airport, airline, PrimeFlight and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). This includes full adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.\n\nMaintain responsibility for overseeing and co-ordinating the safe unloading/ loading of aircraft.\n\nUtilise airline Departure Control Systems (DCS) and load control/ weight and balance systems as required.\n\nAssist with passenger services, including facilitating boarding and disembarkation. Assist at the boarding gate where required.\n\nComply with internal and external regulations regarding weight and balance, including delivering accurate and secure loadsheets, and completing Last Minute Changes (LMCs) correctly.\n\nSupervise ramp agents and customer service agents handling the turnaround.\n\nLiaise with the fuel supplier and the operating crew to effect accurate loading and loadsheets.\n\nEnsure that security items, rush/ unattended bags are loaded and documented correctly.\n\nPresent an accurate loadsheet to the Captain and conduct LMCs as required.\n\nComply with baggage reconciliation and Triple A requirements.\n\nOperate the passenger boarding bridge in a safe manner and according to airport/ PrimeFlight procedure.\n\nOperate airside vehicles (as trained and directed) in a safe manner.\n\nPromptly report on any incidents or near-misses that are observed or incurred and provide clear, accurate and honest details to uphold PrimeFlight just safety culture.\n\nWear the specified PrimeFlight uniforms and comply with the uniform regulations.\n\nCarry out any other reasonable request made by PrimeFlight.\n\nWhat were looking for?\n\nExceptional written and oral communication skills (in English).\n\nSound mathematics skills.\n\nFull and unrestricted driver’s licence.\n\nAbility to operate passenger boarding bridges.\n\nAbility to operate airside vehicles.\n\nUnderstanding of loadsheets and SITA Type-B messages.\n\n2 years’ experience in the aviation industry, preferably within airport operations.\n\n1-2 years’ experience as a turnaround coordinator or aircraft dispatcher.\n\nWeight and balance, dispatcher or turnaround coordinator licence (current or expired).\n\nOther aviation accreditations/ licences, such as: radio operator licence; pilot’s licence; dispatcher accreditation.\n\nExperience within customer service.\n\nExperience within ramp operations.\n\nWhy Join Us?\n\nCompany pension\n\nCycle to work scheme\n\nEmployee discount\n\nFree parking\n\nHealth & wellbeing programme\n\nReferral programme\n\nPrimeFlight UK is an equal opportunity employer.
