Reporting to the Civil / Structural Discipline Manager, you will be required to work across a continuous succession of projects as they progress through the project lifecycle from early concept development, detailed design, construction, commissioning, and operations.\nThis role will be based at our new Head Office on St Georges Tce, Perth. Adjacent to the train station, the City office has state of the art end of journey facilities, including secure storage for bicycles and scooters, a gym, tennis court, basketball hoop and a swimming pool available for all Primero employees.\nYour Key Responsibilities\nDeliver civil engineering design solutions for mining, mineral processing and resource sector projects.\nEnsure compliance of design products with the Design Procedure.\nProduce and ensure design products comply with applicable legislation, standards, client, third party and project requirements.\nTake ownership of technical compliance and quality of civil engineering deliverables.\nCoordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams to achieve integrated project outcomes.\nProvide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.\nEngage with clients, vendors and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support project execution.\nEnsure design products are delivered in accordance with the project budget and schedule.\nEnsure designs are fit for purpose and consider all aspects including, cost, constructability, operability and maintainability.\nWhat You ‘Can Do’\nBachelor of Civil Engineering (recognised by IEAust).\n6+ years’ civil engineering experience in the mining/mineral processing or resource sector.\nStrong technical knowledge of Civil Engineering Design including earthworks, roads, drainage, hardstands, and site infrastructure.\nDemonstrated experience delivering Civil Engineering packages through feasibility, detailed design and construction support phases.\nThorough understanding and practical application of relevant Australian Standards, Industry Codes, and Engineering best practices.\nAbility to interpret client specific requirements and develop practical engineering solutions.\nKnowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices.\nExperience with development of technical engineering documents, drawings, schedules, and models.\nFamiliarity with Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD, with the ability to review and guide civil design outputs.\nA team player with the ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplined project teams.\nSite experience during construction is advantageous. \nDemonstrated planning and organisation skills.\nStrong verbal and written communication
