This role offers the opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle, from studies and detailed design through to construction support and commissioning.\nYou will play a key role within a multidisciplinary engineering team delivering mechanical designs for minerals processing plants and associated infrastructure. Depending on experience, the role may include technical leadership, mentoring of designers, coordination of design deliverables and client interface responsibilities.\nThis role will be based at our new Head Office located at 219 St Georges Tce, Perth. Adjacent to the train station, the city office has state of the art end of journey facilities, including secure storage for bicycles and scooters, a gym, tennis court, basketball hoop and a swimming pool available for all Primero employees.\nYour Key Responsibilities\nDevelop high-quality mechanical layouts, 3D models and detailed design drawings\nProduce design deliverables for studies, detailed engineering and construction phases\nAssist with equipment integration, constructability and plant layout optimisation\nParticipate in design reviews, model reviews and interdisciplinary coordination\nLiaise with clients, vendors and project stakeholders\nSupport junior designers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives\nEnsure designs comply with relevant Australian and industry standards \nWhat You ‘Can Do’\nExperience in mechanical design within mining, minerals processing or heavy industry\nStrong understanding of fixed plant and materials handling systems\nExperience in the Autodesk suite of software including Advance Steel, Plant 3D is highly desirable\nExperience working across feasibility and detailed design projects\nAbility to work
