You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across various commodities (including gold, lithium, rare earths) across the full project lifecycle, from studies and detailed design through to construction support and commissioning.\nThis role will be based at our new Head Office on St Georges Tce, Perth. Adjacent to the train station, the city office has state of the art end of journey facilities, including secure storage for bicycles and scooters, a gym, tennis court, basketball hoop and a swimming pool available for all Primero employees.\nYour Key Responsibilities\nEnsure compliance of design products with the Design Procedure.\nProduce and ensure design products comply with applicable legislation, standards, client, third party and project requirements.\nEnsure technical compliance of design products.\nEnsure design products are delivered in accordance with the project budget and schedule.\nEnsure designs are fit for purpose and consider all aspects including, cost, constructability, operability and maintainability.\nProvide input into design tenders.\nWhat You ‘Can Do’\nBachelor of Mechanical Engineering (recognised by IEAust).\n6+ years’ experience in the mining/mineral processing or oil and gas sector.\nThorough knowledge and practical application of relevant industry codes of practice.\nAbility to rapidly understand and assimilate project and client specific requirements.\nIntermediate knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices.\nIntermediate experience with development of technical engineering documents, drawings, schedules, and models.\nInnovative and flexible approach to problem solving, an ability to analyse
