The system performs quality validation for:\n Architectural models\n Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) models\n Structural models\nThe application validates BIM models against predefined quality check rules and generates standardized validation reports.\nKey Responsibilities\nSoftware Development & Maintenance\n Develop, maintain, and enhance the IFC Quality Checker application.\n Implement bug fixes and performance improvements.\n Update and enhance BIM validation rules and business logic.\n Support new IFC file formats and BIM standards where required.\n Maintain and optimize Docker images and container deployments.\n Manage Amazon ECR repositories.\n Integrate and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines within the SHIP/HATS environment.\n Provide application support, issue investigation, and troubleshooting.\n Produce clean, maintainable, secure, and well-documented code.\nCloud Infrastructure & DevOps\n Manage Terraform infrastructure across multiple AWS accounts.\n Maintain AWS cloud resources supporting the application.\n Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Amazon ECS Fargate.\n Monitor application health using Amazon CloudWatch.\n Analyze logs and troubleshoot production issues.\n Maintain deployment automation and infrastructure consistency.\nSecurity & Compliance\n Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities, including SAST findings.\n Implement secure coding practices and cloud security best practices.\n Maintain compliance with RS-NS data classification and government security requirements.\n Manage IAM roles and security policies.\nTesting & Quality Assurance\n Develop automated tests using Python and Pytest.\n Support application validation and regression testing.\n Ensure software quality through testing, code reviews, and documentation.\nRequired Technical Skills\nC++ Development\n Minimum 4-7 years of hands-on C++ software development experience.\n Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.\n Solid understanding of memory management and performance optimization.\n Experience maintaining large production codebases.\nIFC / BIM\n Experience working with Industry Foundation Classes (IFC).\n Understanding ofIFC4 schema.\n Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) workflows.\n Experience withIfcOpenShell, C++ library is highly preferred.\nPython\n Strong Python programming skills.\n Experience with Pytest or similar testing frameworks.\n Ability to develop automation scripts and data processing tools.\nDocker & Containerization\n Experience building and optimizing Docker images.\n Familiarity with multi-stage Docker builds.\n Experience managing Amazon ECR repositories.\nInfrastructure as Code\n Strong Terraform experience.\n Experience managing Terraform state across multiple AWS environments and accounts.\nCI/CD\n Experience designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.\n Experience with SHIP/HATS environments is an advantage.\nAWS Experience\nHands-on experience with:\n Amazon ECS Fargate\n AWS Step Functions\n AWS Lambda\n Amazon S3\n Amazon ECR\n AWS IAM\n Amazon CloudWatch\n Amazon Bedrock\nExperience\n 4-7 years of relevant software engineering
