The resource will be responsible for resolving database issues, assessing security vulnerabilities (CVEs), implementing fixes, and ensuring platform stability and compliance.\nKey Responsibilities\nAdminister and support PostgreSQL databases in production and non-production environments.\nPerform database backup, restore, recovery, and health checks.\nTroubleshoot and resolve PostgreSQL performance, availability, and connectivity issues.\nMonitor security advisories and identify PostgreSQL-related CVEs affecting the environment.\nAssess vulnerability impact and implement remediation actions, including security patching and upgrades.\nCoordinate testing, deployment, and validation of patches in accordance with change management processes.\nWork with infrastructure, application, and security teams to resolve vulnerabilities and operational issues.\nMaintain technical documentation, SOPs, and remediation reports.\nSupport incident, problem, and change management activities.\nRequired Skills\n4+ years of hands-on PostgreSQL administration and support experience.\nStrong knowledge of PostgreSQL installation, configuration, backup, recovery, replication, and performance tuning.\nExperience in vulnerability management and CVE remediation.\nKnowledge of Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).\nFamiliarity with patch management, security hardening, and database upgrades.\nExperience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with scripting (Shell, Python, Bash).\nUnderstanding of cybersecurity frameworks and vulnerability management processes.\nITIL or relevant database certifications will be an advantage.\nEngagement Model\nSupport and maintenance role with participation in incident response and planned maintenance activities.\nAbility to support critical issue resolution during non-business hours when
