We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who will own how our software gets built, tested, and delivered.Your job is to turn mature our pipeline into a more extensive CI/CD pipeline that takes a change from a developer’s laptop to a fielded robot, and to make that path fast, repeatable, and trustworthy. This role suits someone who wants their infrastructure work to show up in the field, not just on a dashboard.\nIn your first six months, you’ll focus on expanding our CI/CD and automated testing. From there, you’ll take on edge deployment and updates, then help us grow into secure and disconnected delivery.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild, Test & Delivery Pipelines:\nMature and expand our existing GitHub Actions CI into full CI/CD, from commit through release, with automated build, test, and packaging for multiple target platforms and reproducible releases.\n\nIntegrate the testing tools our engineers and Test and Evaluation team build so they run automatically and reliably on every change.\n\nSet up and maintain self-hosted runners, including GPU and hardware-in-the-loop runners, so simulation and hardware tests catch issues before they reach a robot.\n\nKeep pipelines fast and trustworthy: reduce build times, track down flaky tests, and make results easy for engineers to act on.\n\nEdge & On-Device Deployment:\nDesign how Anura is packaged, deployed, and updated on robotic and embedded compute platforms, including NVIDIA GPU edge devices, and work alongside engineers to bring up new partner platforms quickly.\n\nBuild safe update workflows for fielded devices, including versioned releases, rollback, and tracking which version runs on which customer’s hardware.\n\nBuild tooling for monitoring, logging, and diagnostics on devices with limited bandwidth or intermittent connectivity.\n\nTeam Operations:\nAutomate environment setup and other manual workflows that slow engineers down.\n\nHelp the team adopt good testing and CI habits through documentation, reviews, and pairing.\n\nSecure Delivery (growing over time):\nHelp build delivery workflows for air-gapped customer networks, including offline packaging and transfer.\n\nAdd security practices to our pipelines, such as dependency scanning, signing, and SBOM generation.\n\nRequired Skills and Experience\n5-8 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering.\n\nHands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines with automated testing.\n\nExperience deploying software to edge, embedded, or robotic systems.\n\nStrong with GitHub Actions or a similar CI system, including self-hosted runners.\n\nExperience building and testing mixed Python and C++ codebases, including CMake.\n\nStrong with Docker and containerized builds.\n\nProficient in Linux administration and scripting in Python or Bash.\n\nAble to own problems end to end and make sound decisions without a large team around you.\n\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nExperience delivering software into air-gapped or classified environments.\n\nExperience deploying to NVIDIA Jetson or other GPU edge hardware, including GPU-enabled containers and cross-compiling for ARM.\n\nExperience with software supply chain security and compliance, such as code signing, SBOMs, NIST 800-171, or CMMC.\n\nInfrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar) and a major cloud provider, with AWS GovCloud or Azure Government a plus.\n\nExperience at a startup or small defense technology company.\n\nImportant Qualification Note: Due to the nature of our work and federal compliance requirements, this position strictly requires U.S. Citizenship and current residency within the United States.
