This role requires a hands-on contributor who can both solve problems and contribute directly to development.\nWhat You'll Do\nProduct & System Development: Transform innovative ideas and research into robust, production-grade software for autonomous platforms, actively contributing to coding and system design.\n\nCollaborative Development: Collaborate closely with the R&D team to turn concepts and prototypes into robust, high-performance production code, ensuring clear objectives and timelines.\n\nPerformance & Optimization: Conduct performance analysis and apply low-level optimizations for efficiency, portability, and scalability, tackling complex problem-solving in critical areas.\n\nSystems Integration: Integrate developer software with robotic systems, sensors, and other hardware.\n\nAbout You\nDemonstrated expertise in C++ and/or Python.\n\nDemonstrated expertise in data structures, algorithms, and system-level programming concepts (e.g., threading, synchronization, and memory management).\n\nDemonstrated expertise in debugging, profiling, and optimizing complex software systems.\n\nDesirable Qualities\nFamiliarity with autonomy, performance-critical systems or robotics.\n\nExperience with machine learning methods for natural language processing and autonomy.\n\nExperience with embedded systems and real-time applications.\n\nImportant Qualification Note: Due to the nature of our work and federal compliance requirements, this position strictly requires U.S. Citizenship and current residency within the United States.
