Certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, and AS9100 standards, we combine quality, innovation, and growth-minded thinking to deliver real value.\nPosition Summary\nThe Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs that promote a safe workplace, ensure regulatory compliance, and support Prince Industries' commitment to employee well-being and operational excellence. This role partners with leaders and employees across all facilities to identify risks, reduce workplace injuries, strengthen safety culture, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nSafety Program Administration\nAdminister and maintain companywide EH&S programs, policies, and procedures.\nConduct routine facility inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits.\nIdentify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.\nMonitor compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulatory requirements.\nLead safety committee meetings and support employee involvement initiatives.\nMaintain safety metrics, incident records, and regulatory reporting requirements.\nIncident Management\nInvestigate workplace injuries, near misses, property damage incidents, and safety concerns.\nDetermine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.\nMaintain OSHA logs and related documentation.\nAnalyze incident trends and provide recommendations to reduce risk.\nWorkers' Compensation Administration\nServe as the primary administrator for the Company's workers' compensation program across all locations.\nEnsure all workplace injuries and illnesses are reported promptly and documented in accordance with Company policy and applicable state requirements.\nCoordinate the filing and management of workers' compensation claims with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, medical providers, and legal counsel as necessary.\nAct as the primary point of contact for employees, supervisors, and claims representatives throughout the claims process.\nMonitor claim activity, claim reserves, and overall workers' compensation costs to identify trends and recommend cost-containment strategies.\nCoordinate return-to-work and transitional duty programs to facilitate safe and timely employee reintegration following workplace injuries.\nMaintain required records and documentation related to workers' compensation claims, medical restrictions, and accommodations.\nParticipate in claim review meetings and work closely with insurance carriers to ensure claims are managed effectively and resolved appropriately.\nAnalyze injury and claims data to identify root causes, recurring risks, and opportunities for preventive measures.\nCollaborate with Human Resources, Operations, and plant leadership to ensure consistent application of workers' compensation policies and procedures.\nSupport regulatory compliance related to workers' compensation, OSHA recordkeeping, and injury reporting requirements.\nAssist with annual workers' compensation audits, payroll reporting, and insurance renewal processes.\nDevelop and implement initiatives designed to reduce injury frequency, claim severity, and overall workers' compensation expenses.\nTraining and Employee Engagement\nDevelop and conduct EH&S training programs for employees, supervisors, and managers.\nFacilitate new hire safety orientation and required annual refresher training.\nEnsure completion and documentation of required safety certifications and training records.\nPromote employee safety awareness through communication campaigns and safety initiatives.\nRegulatory Compliance\nMonitor changes in environmental, health, and safety regulations and communicate impacts to leadership.\nEnsure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable state regulations.\nCoordinate regulatory inspections and respond to agency inquiries as necessary.\nMaintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical inventory records.\nSupport environmental reporting, waste management, and sustainability initiatives.\nEnvironmental Management\nMonitor compliance with environmental permits and reporting obligations.\nCoordinate hazardous waste storage, handling, and disposal activities.\nSupport pollution prevention and waste reduction programs.\nAssist with environmental audits and corrective action implementation.\nContinuous Improvement\nTrack and analyze EH&S performance metrics.\nRecommend and implement improvements to safety processes and procedures.\nCollaborate with leadership to establish annual safety goals and objectives.\nSupport company initiatives such as ISO certification efforts, continuous improvement projects, and operational excellence programs.\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field preferred.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in environmental health and safety within a manufacturing environment preferred.\nEquivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nWorking knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management principles.\nUnderstanding of EPA and environmental compliance requirements.\nExperience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.\nStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively with employees at all organizational levels.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and safety management systems.\nAbility to interpret regulations and translate requirements into practical workplace applications.\nPreferred Certifications\nCertified Safety Professional (CSP)\nAssociate Safety Professional (ASP)\nOccupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST)\nOSHA 30-Hour Certification\nFirst Aid/CPR/AED Certification\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to walk manufacturing facilities regularly.\nAbility to climb ladders, access elevated work areas, and inspect equipment.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.\nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).\nCompensation: $90,000 - $125,000 (final compensation determined by experience and interview).\nDue to ITAR
