Certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, and AS9100 standards, we combine quality, innovation, and growth-minded thinking to deliver real value.\nJob Summary:\nThe Assembly Tech I is an entry-level position.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nMechanical Assembly of parts using manual and electrical equipment\nInterpret and work from customer blueprints, assembly drawings, BOMs, and written/verbal instructions.\nPerform mechanical assembly of enclosures, chassis, and box builds according to engineering drawings and work instructions.\nAccurately install specialized components including Helicoils, precision dowel pins, thermal pads, bushings, and press-fit hardware using calibrated tools and strict process controls.\nEnsure alignment and fit of components using measuring tools and inspection methods.\nMeasuring tooling, including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, height gage\nWork collaboratively with quality assurance and engineering teams to resolve any build issues.\nFollow proper torque specifications and assembly sequences to meet quality standards.\nRecord build documentation and complete traveler paperwork as required.\nAdhere to all safety regulations and company policies.\nMaintain clean and organized workstations and adhere to 5S standards.\nRecommend activities to promote continuous improvement and best practice.\nQualifications:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\n0 - 2 years of experience in high-complexity mechanical assembly, ideally in aerospace, defense, medical device, or high-tech manufacturing environments.\nExperience working in ISO/ AS9102-certified or aerospace/defense manufacturing environments is preferred.\nExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, quality-first mindset.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to move or transfer products with an overhead crane. \nAbility to lift 50 lbs. when required. \nWhile performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. \nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those and employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
