Certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, and AS9100 standards, we combine quality, innovation, and growth-minded thinking to deliver real value.\nJob Summary\nThe Quality Manager is the hands-on leader of the Prince Industries site Quality Team. Reporting to the Corporate Director of Quality, this role has primary responsibility for site quality performance and supports the General Manager, customers, and production operations. The Quality Manager leads, manages, and holds the quality team accountable; makes sound, timely decisions; and ensures compliance of the quality management system with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 requirements. This role manages site-wide quality policies, procedures, processes, programs, and practices to maintain conformance with applicable standards, regulations, and customer requirements. Responsibilities also include document control, quality audits, and continuous improvement.\nThe Quality Manager is accountable for protecting the customer, maintaining an effective and compliant quality management system, and improving site quality performance through disciplined leadership, data-based decisions, and cross-functional collaboration.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nDedication to and action on Prince Industries Core Values.\nEnsuring all safety procedures are followed.\nPromoting quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization.\nActing as a key contact with customers' auditors and being responsible for ensuring the execution of corrective actions and ongoing compliance with customers' specifications.\nProvide regular internal and external reports on quality performance, trends, risks, corrective actions, and improvement priorities.\nAct as the voice of the customer within the organization regarding quality concerns and product performance, ensuring customer requirements and feedback are translated into effective internal actions.\nBuild strong relationships with key customers and ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and quality issues.\nMaintaining a constant awareness of the business context and company profitability.\nEnsuring compliance with national and international standards.\nBringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to formulate and agree on comprehensive quality procedures. \nSupervising technical staff in carrying out all necessary inspection activities, document creation, quality engineering, metrological process design and calibration.\nEnsuring procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated.\nWriting technical and management system reports as required.\nMaintain and support the internal audit program, including audit planning, auditor coordination, timely completion, reporting of findings, and verification of corrective-action effectiveness.\nPinpointing relevant quality-related training needs.\nWorking closely with purchasing staff to establish supplier quality performance criteria and monitor and report supplier performance.\nAssessing suppliers’ product specifications and quality plans. \nBeing a liaison to other managers and staff, particularly in areas such as design, production and purchasing, tying in and providing clarity within the quality system\nUtilize business system tools and analytics to ensure adequate resources are in place to meet growth/capacity requirements.\nRequired Skills & Attributes\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nSolid Knowledge of GD&T.\nGauge calibration experience.\nCMM programming/operating experience.\nWorking knowledge of machine shop metrology\nMust be excellent at reading drawings/blueprints.\nExperience in all required quality engineering phases.\nMust have experience leading teams in PPAP, APQP and FMEA.\nEpicor knowledge.\n6 Sigma green belt or black belt a plus.\nASQ Certification a plus, i.e. SQE, SQA, etc.\nKnowledge and understanding of AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.\nEducation & Experience\n4-year BS in Mechanical Engineering or related degree with relevant experience.\n5-10 years’ experience in a quality function/role.\n3+ years’ experience managing a quality organization.\nExperience with a manufacturing organization, specifically precision metal machining.\nExperience implementing/maintaining AS9100, NADCAP quality system or equivalent.\nExperience in a related manufacturing work environment.\nExperience leading a staff of 6 or more.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods.\nExposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels.\nMust be able to communicate clearly and accurately in noisy environments.\nMust be able to read, write, and speak English.\nCompensation: $110,000-$130,000 The final rate will be determined based on experience and a successful interview process.\nDue to ITAR regulations, only U.S. persons-defined as U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders), and U.S. nationals-are eligible for this position.\n*We are an Equal Employment Opportunity (\"EEO\") Employer.
