The Welder will be required to do MIG/TIG welding and will review drawings and specifications to accurately weld parts and metal components.\n2nd shift hours: 3:30pm - 2:00am, Monday through Thursday\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nProficiently employs a diverse range of welding techniques, encompassing Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum.\nDemonstrates the capability to interpret and comprehend blueprints and formulas in order to ascertain the precise welding requirements for each project.\nPossesses the proficiency to utilize precision instruments such as calipers, tape measures, and squares.\nExhibits comprehensive proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques as per specifications outlined in technical drawings.\nCollaborates in the production process and provide support to machine operators as required.\nMaintains a clean and organized welding environment at all times.\nAdditional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor; may include department transfers or special projects in order to meet production needs.\nRequired Skills & Attributes\nAbility to use inspection methods including tape measure, calipers and fillet gages.\nAble to interpret AWS weld symbols.\nAble to read and interpret blueprints.\nAbility to communicate effectively both in oral and written form and interact appropriately with all levels of the company and customers, in which it pertains to the job responsibilities.\nExcellent troubleshooting or problem resolution skills.\nExcellent organizational skills required to complete work assignments and prioritize urgent matters in order to meet deadlines established.\nExcellent knowledge of engineering concepts and practices.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nEducation & Experience\nHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.\n5+ years MIG/TIG Welding experience with Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminum.\nProficient at math and computer skills: ability to calculate fractions, dimensions, and tolerances according to customer and production specifications.\nProficient at reading, interpreting, and understanding weld symbols, blueprints and drawings in order to accurately fabricate parts and components the first time.\nProficient at using quality inspection equipment (gages, micrometers, rulers), GD&T preferred.\nPhysical Requirements\nRegularly required to sit, stand, or walk the duration of shift, 8-10 hours. \nFrequently required to talk or hear.\nOccasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach or bend.\nManually lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. \nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision in which 20/20 vision or corrected vision to 20/20 vision is required.\nOccasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.\nOccasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles resulting from metalworking coolants and oils.\nThe noise level in the work environment is sometimes loud when working in the plant, in which hearing protection is required.\nComp: $20-24/hr\nDue to ITAR regulations, only U.S. persons-defined as U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders), and U.S. nationals-are eligible for this position.\n*We are an Equal Employment Opportunity (\"EEO\") Employer.
