Certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, and AS9100 standards, we combine quality, innovation, and growth-minded thinking to deliver real value.\nJob Summary\nThe Quality Engineer helps support all quality related activities, such as review of quality documentation for PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), failure mode and effects analysis, first article inspection, CPK’s, review, and submission of PPAP’s etc. The Quality Engineer helps ensure the documentation design, implementation and enforcement of the quality management system, procedures and statistical techniques are following the company's objectives and quality certifications.\nJob Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nSupports the development or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment.\nAnalyzes production limitations and standards relating to quality issues (i.e., capability studies).\nRecommends revision of quality specifications when indicated (i.e., AS9100).\nResponsible for helping to identify and implement any required training related to personnel on quality issues.\nWorks with Engineering and Production on customer complaints (Corrective Actions).\nHelps to resolve subcontractor quality issues as required with Purchasing as needed.\nParticipates in APQP and follows up to ensure key quality and functional requirements are properly defined and incorporated into proposed designs.\nConducts MRB (Material Review Board) actions as needed alongside quality supervisor\nReviews and confirms that proper statistical techniques have been used to evaluate the results of prototype, pre-production runs, FAI/PPAP submissions when needed.\nHelps/Develops Audit schedules as needed.\nLead AS9100 audit\nResponsible for the on going support and maintenance of the QMS and AS9100 Standard\nResponsible for leveraging data within the organization to display quality trends for resolution\nOversight of quality supervisor and their general functions\nAdditional responsibilities as needed.\nEducation and Experience\nMust possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience in all phases of related quality management. \nExperience in manufacturing work environment.\nCertification, formal training, or continuing education preferred.\nRequired Skills & Attributes\nStrong data collection abilities.\nStrong ability to manipulate and display data in Microsoft Excel\nStrong decision making skills\nSPC experience preferred.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and personnel as it applies to the job duties.\nExcellent computer skills to effectively generate reports, input required data or present information.\nExcellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills. \nExcellent organization and prioritization skills. \nGood knowledge of Quality Certification policies (ISO standards).\nPhysical Job Requirements\nRegularly required to walk or sit the duration of workday, 8-9 hours.\nAbility to lift to 45lbs.\nOccasionally required to sort parts.\nOccasionally required to scrap parts. \nOccasionally required to meet with customers over quality issues. \nFrequently required to perform repetitive hand movements when doing computer work. \nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision in which 20/20 vision or corrected vision to 20/20 vision is required.\nOccasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts when in the plant.\nOccasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles resulting from metalworking coolants and oils.\nThe noise level in the work environment is sometimes loud when working in the plant, in which, hearing protection is required.\nBenefits\nPaid vacation and holidays\nMedical, Dental, & Vision Plans\nShort and Long Term Disability Plans\n401(k) Retirement Plan with strong employer match\nCompany paid life insurance & AD&D\nPartial tuition reimbursement for job relation classes\nPPE reimbursement\nYour specific benefits package will depend on your position, location, and years of service with Prince.\nCompensation: $75,000-85,000 per year\nWe are also offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus for this role.\nDue to ITAR regulations, only U.S. persons-defined as U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders), and U.S. nationals-are eligible for this position.\n*We are an Equal Employment Opportunity (\"EEO\") Employer.
