That’s why we’re looking for a detail-oriented HR & Payroll Specialist to join us. In this position, you’ll handle the day-to-day work that keeps payroll, benefits, HR systems, and compliance accurate and on time, and you'll be the first point of contact for employees with questions. You’ll work closely with our People Operations Team and Talent Partners, and your work will directly shape employees' experience.\nYour daily tasks will include:\nBe the first point of contact for employee questions about payroll, benefits, leave, HR systems and policies\n\nManage the People Operations inbox and follow up quickly and clearly\n\nEscalate complex issues as they arise\n\nProcess payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, deductions and adjustments\n\nValidate timekeeping records and approvals, and help resolve timecard issues\n\nPrepare miscellaneous payroll items and assist with payroll preview audits and reconciliations\n\nProcess garnishments and payroll deductions\n\nSupport year-end payroll activities, including W-2 validation\n\nProcess benefit enrollments, changes and terminations, including COBRA notifications\n\nAudit enrollments and eligibility between our HR systems and carrier sites, and resolve discrepancies with carriers\n\nReconcile monthly benefit invoices against enrollment files\n\nSupport annual open enrollment, including communications, elections and audits\n\nSupport 401(k) enrollments, contribution reconciliation and audit preparation\n\nKeep employee records and HR system data accurate and up to date\n\nProcess employee status changes and monitor workflow approvals\n\nRun recurring reports and data audits, and correct inconsistencies\n\nTroubleshoot basic system issues and support user setup and deactivation\n\nMaintain I-9 records, track reverifications and manage E-Verify\n\nTrack policy acknowledgements, required training and expiring documents\n\nConduct personnel file and I-9 audits, and help prepare for internal and external audits\n\nKeep sensitive information secure and confidential\n\nIn this role, we'll expect you to:\nEmployee Support\n\nPayroll Support\n\nBenefits and Leave Support\n\nHR Systems and Data\n\nCompliance\n\nYour qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field\n\n3-5 years of experience in HR operations, payroll or benefits administration\n\nHands-on experience with HR and payroll systems\n\nStrong Excel skills, including working with large data sets, audits and reconciliations\n\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy, even with a high volume of work\n\nAbility to handle confidential information with discretion\n\nClear, friendly communication and a customer-service mindset\n\nStrong organization and time management across multiple deadlines\n\nMulti-state payroll or benefits experience preferred\n\nWhat we offer:\nCompetitive pay and benefits: health, dental, vision, and life insurance\n\n401k with company match\n\nFree coffee and snacks\n\nPersonal and professional development opportunities\n\nA fun and engaging position in a fast-paced environment\n\nA global, inclusive team that’s as supportive as it is ambitious and serious about getting things done\n\nAn opportunity to work in a modern fulfillment facility\n\nExciting team-building events and parties you’ll never forget!\n\nPrintful is an on-demand printing and fulfillment company that helps people turn their ideas into brands and products.
