This role is based in Salt Lake City, UT and has a hybrid work model.\nSummary:\nThe Learning Experience Designer I supports the development of engaging, effective learning solutions that help employees build knowledge, skills, and confidence in their roles. Working closely with subject matter experts and senior team members, this position assists in analyzing learning needs, designing instructional content, and creating training experiences that align with business objectives. Responsibilities include developing eLearning courses, learning materials, practice activities, and digital training assets while ensuring content is accurate, learner-focused, and easy to understand. This role operates on a hybrid basis based in Salt Lake City, UT.\nPrincipal Responsibilities:\nIdentify and prioritize performance needs in collaboration with subject matter experts and senior team members\nDevelop practice activities/scenarios with feedback and guidance from senior team members and subject matter experts\nDevelop, evaluate, revise, and enhance learning experience materials\nDevelop training assets (e.g., graphics and videos)\nWork on assigned projects under guidance \nOrganize and write technical documents and research materials\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications:\nDegree or work experience in instructional design, technical writing, education, or similar field\nExcellent written communication skills\nStrong editing/proofreading skills\nExperience developing online courses\nAbility to work both independently and in a team environment\nAbility to adapt to changing information quickly\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience maintaining courses in a Learning Management System\nWorking knowledge of graphic design principles\nExperience with digital content creation using Adobe Creative Cloud\nAbility to write HTML and CSS (any JavaScript knowledge is a huge plus) \nExperience with online learning authoring tools, like Articulate Storyline\nEssential Job Functions:\nOrganizing and coordinating information and deadlines\nCreating written communication\nFrequent computer use\nSitting for long periods of time\nConcentrating for long periods of time\nOur Company:\nAs one of Utah's Top Places to work, IAED is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
