Harcourt, Rivers\nEmployment Type: Full-time\nJob Description\nWe are seeking a skilled and hands-on Maintenance Technician Intern – Electrical or Mechanical to support landing craft (boats) maintenance operations.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical orMechanical systems, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring the reliable operation of equipment to minimise downtime and support uninterrupted operation.\nKey Responsibilities\nCarry out routine preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical or mechanical systems and equipment.\nTroubleshoot and repair electrical or mechanical faults in motors, pumps, fans, lighting systems, generators, etc and otherequipment mechanical parts.\nInspect and maintain electrical panels, control circuits, wiring, and distribution boards and or all other reported faulty mechanical parts.\nSupport the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.\nRespond promptly tobreakdowns to minimise operation downtime.\nMonitor equipment performance and identify potential electricalor mechanical faults before they cause breakdowns.\nMaintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts usage, and equipment faults.\nEnsure compliance with electrical and mechanical safety standards, company procedures, and housekeeping requirements.\nRequirements\nOND, HND, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.\nMinimum of 1years’ relevant maintenance experience.\nPractical knowledge of electrical or mechanicalfault diagnosis.\nAbility to troubleshoot electrical or mechanical faults and carry out preventive maintenance.\nStrong problem-solving skills and commitment to safety.\nWillingness to work
