You will be the dedicated SRE for a product workstream: owning its monitoring, alerting and runbooks, taking on-call, and helping lead incident response and postmortems alongside development teams and Senior SREs.\n\nThis is a hands-on role for an engineer with a few years of production experience who wants to grow into owning reliability for a domain end to end.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nBuild and tune monitoring, dashboards and alerts; reduce alert noise and close detection gaps.\n\nHelp resolve production incidents, and lead triage of lower severity alerts.\n\nFacilitate blameless postmortems and drive follow-up actions to closure.\n\nDefine SLIs and SLOs for critical user flows.\n\nWrite runbooks and playbooks for AI-assisted alert triage.\n\nAutomate toil through scripting, infrastructure as code and CI/CD improvements.\n\nSupport safer releases through readiness reviews, load testing and canary deployments.\n\nContribute to failover and disaster recovery testing.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like:\n\nDelivery & Execution: You participate in incident response, and manage post incident workflows, ensuring effective postmortems occur within SLA.\n\nProduct Quality & Reliability: Your services have SLOs, actionable alerts and current runbooks. Alert noise trends down, and detection and recovery times improve.\n\nCollaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Engineers and monitoring teams use your dashboards and runbooks day to day, and postmortems lead to fixes rather than blame.\n\nBusiness & Product Impact: Fewer incidents reach customers or affect business operations, and new features ship without losing stability.\n\nProfessional Growth: You lead at least one reliability project from design to rollout and are on a clear path toward Senior SRE.\n\nCandidate Requirements:\nRequired:\n\n3-5 years of software, systems or DevOps engineering experience, including 2+ years in SRE or production operations.\n\nProduction on-call experience, including incident response and postmortems.\n\nHands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes.\n\nExperience building monitoring and alerting with modern observability tools.\n\nProficiency in a scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Go, TypeScript).\n\nExperience with infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred) and CI/CD pipelines.\n\nWorking knowledge of Linux, networking fundamentals and relational databases.\n\nClear written communication.\n\nPreferred:\n\nExperience in payments, fintech or banking, especially PCI DSS environments.\n\nFamiliarity with Kafka or other event-driven architectures.\n\nExperience designing SLOs and error budgets.\n\nExperience using AI tools in operations.\n\nCloud or Kubernetes certifications (e.g., AWS Associate, CKA).\n\nWork Environment & Culture:\nWe believe that performance and experience go hand in hand -an exceptional employee experience is earned through contribution.
