Must have addictions experience.\n\nWe are recruiting Addictions Therapists for Tudor House, our latest residential service in Grafton Regis located in rural Northamptonshire, close to Milton Keynes and Northampton.\nHome to Flourish, Priory’s therapy-led addiction programme, offering personalised treatment in a calm, homely setting. Opening is planned for January 2027, with role start dates from late November 2026 onwards.\nFlourish combines structured therapy, community connection and practical recovery skills for people who do not require medical detox or ongoing medical care.\n\nWe welcome therapists registered with a recognised professional body, including BACP, UKCP, NCPS, HCPC or equivalent. We will support your development during your first year through an individually agreed plan, which may include study days and guidance from your line manager and colleagues across Priory.\nYou will join the higher salary band if you already hold the required accreditation or equivalent status, or progress to it once this is achieved and verified.\nWhat you'll be doing\nAs part of our founding team, you will help shape the therapeutic programme and create a supportive community for our first clients.\nDeliver evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions for people experiencing substance misuse and addictive behaviours.\nFacilitate individual therapy, group sessions and psychoeducational workshops, supporting clients to build resilience, manage triggers and sustain recovery.\nDevelop person-centred treatment plans and contribute to case reviews, risk assessments and care planning.\nMaintain accurate clinical records and therapeutic relationships that meet professional, ethical and regulatory standards.\nYou can find additional information in the attached job description.\nWhat you'll bring to the role\nEssential for the Role\nA relevant therapeutic qualification and current registration with a recognised professional body, such as BACP, UKCP, NCPS, HCPC or equivalent.\nAccreditation or an appropriate equivalent professional status, or willingness to work towards this during your first year\nExperience delivering therapeutic interventions for people with substance misuse and addictive behaviours.\nConfidence facilitating individual and group therapy using evidence-based approaches.\nStrong assessment, risk management, care planning and clinical record-keeping skills.\nExcellent communication and collaborative working skills.\nThe Following Experience Would Be Beneficial\nExperience in residential addiction treatment or rehabilitation.\nDelivery of psychoeducational groups, relapse prevention and recovery-focused interventions.\nKnowledge of safeguarding, clinical governance and regulatory standards.\nAdditional training in addiction therapies, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing or other evidence-based approaches.\nFor more information about the role or to discuss your registration and development pathway, please contact \nWhat we will give you in return\nWe want you to succeed at Priory and thrive in your role.
