You will set up, program, and operate a computerized programmatic guillotine cutter alongside a variety of small-format finishing equipment to deliver high-quality, accurately trimmed print products.\nKey Responsibilities\nGuillotine Cutting & Trimming (Primary Focus)\nSet up, program, and safely operate a computerized, programmatic guillotine paper cutter.\nCalculate margins and trim marks accurately to execute precise cuts for digital and offset press sheets, ensuring zero spoilage of printed work.\n Troubleshoot cutting issues (such as draw, bow, or rough edges) and perform basic maintenance like blade changes.\nSmall-Format Finishing Operations\nOperate auxiliary bindery equipment, including but not limited to:Paper folders and scoring/creasing machines\nBooklet makers, stitchers, and collators\nCoils, wire, and comb binding equipment\nLaminators and UV coaters\nCorner rounders and paper drills\n\nReview job tickets thoroughly to verify quantities, dimensions, layout specifications, and special finishing instructions.\nQuality Control & Maintenance\nConduct regular quality checks throughout production runs to ensure registration, trim accuracy, and overall product integrity.\nPerform routine preventive maintenance on finishing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure operator safety.\nPack, label, and stage finished goods for shipping or delivery according to company standards\nQualifications\nQualifications\nExperience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience operating a programmatic guillotine paper cutter in a commercial print or digital production environment.\nTechnical Skills: Strong ability to read job tickets, understand print layouts, impose trim marks, and navigate digital finishing interfaces.\nMath & Measurement: Proficient in math fractions, decimals, and using standard/metric rulers down to 1/32nd of an inch.\nPhysical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive movements safely.\nAttributes: High attention to detail, strict adherence to safety protocols, and a strong sense of urgency in a deadline-driven environment.\nShift Flexibility: Reliability to consistently work the full 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
