This is a hands-on role with real ownership: you will make design decisions, drive them to production, and be a technical anchor for the people around you.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend services and platform components across edge and cloud.\nOwn features end to end - from requirements and design through deployment, monitoring, and long-term maintenance.\nBuild and improve the data path: ingestion, processing, and delivery of high-volume time-series sensing data.\nTroubleshoot production and field issues across the stack, and turn root causes into durable fixes.\nCollaborate with other teams - algorithms, hardware, DevOps, and product - on cross-cutting requirements and integrations.\nMaintain high standards of software quality through code review, testing, and shared engineering practices, and mentor engineers on the team.\nWhat You Bring\nBSc. in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.\n5+ years of experience in backend and system software development of complex systems.\nHighly proficient in Python.\nSolid experience building and operating services in a cloud environment (AWS preferred).\nHands-on experience with containers and orchestration - Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience with data stores and messaging at production scale - relational or NoSQL databases and message brokers.\nExperience taking ownership of a system in production, including deployment, observability, and on-call style debugging.\nExcellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.\nGreat to Have\nSpecific technologies -
