In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products by developing scalable automation frameworks and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain robust UI and API automation frameworks.\n\nDevelop and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and microservices.\n\nCollaborate with Product and Engineering teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.\n\nPerform functional, regression, integration, and API testing.\n\nIdentify, debug, report, and track software defects.\n\nIntegrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.\n\nParticipate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and code reviews.\n\nContinuously improve test automation frameworks and QA processes.\n\nTools & Technologies We Use\n\nJava, Javascript, Playwright(UI Automation), Rest Assured(API Automation), K6(Performance Automation)\nContinuous Integration tools - Jenkins, Bit bucket\nJIRA – Defect tracking and task creation tool\n\nExpectation From Ideal Candidate\n\n3+ years of experience in Automation/SDET roles are mandatory.\nMandatory excellent programming skills in Java / Javascript( Should be ready to work any language). Good knowledge of basic data structure.\nMandatory experience in API Automation.\nSuggest /Make framework enhancements to accommodate the scripting needs\nEnthusiasm to improve automation coverage.\nShould spend 30% time in script maintenance and analysis of results and creation of bugs.\nShould spend time in understanding features in customer perspective\nStrong verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the engineering team and create testing plans and written reports showing errors.\nShould be able to work in a startup/dynamic environment.\nAble to mentor
