The ideal candidate will help clients integrate APIs into their existing systems, understand their technical requirements, and recommend efficient, scalable, and reliable implementation approaches.\n\nThe candidate should have a deep understanding of how APIs work, hands-on experience with frontend and/or backend technologies, and the ability to troubleshoot integration challenges and optimize the way APIs and external scripts are implemented within web applications.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Work with clients to understand their technical requirements and help integrate APIs with their existing applications, websites, and backend systems.\nAnalyze API documentation and translate business and technical requirements into practical implementation approaches.\nImplement, test, debug, and troubleshoot REST API integrations across different systems.\nWork with HTTP requests and responses, JSON payloads, headers, query parameters, status codes, and API error handling.\nDevelop and troubleshoot web integrations using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.\nOptimize the loading and execution of JavaScript files and third-party scripts to minimize their impact on website performance.\nIdentify opportunities to improve API integration efficiency, reduce unnecessary network requests, and optimize request-response handling.\nDiagnose integration issues using browser developer tools, network inspection, server logs, and API testing tools.\nCollaborate with client technical teams and internal engineering teams to resolve implementation challenges.\nProvide technical guidance on API usage, integration workflows, implementation dependencies, and best practices.\n Test integrations across different environments and ensure functionality, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems.\nDocument implementation steps, troubleshooting procedures, and recommendations for future integrations.\n\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\n\nMinimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in API integration, web development, or a related software engineering role.\nStrong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, request-response lifecycles, HTTP methods, status codes, headers, JSON, and error handling.\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.\nPractical experience integrating APIs with frontend applications, backend services, or third-party platforms.\n Understanding of JavaScript execution, asynchronous operations, Promises, async/await, and dynamic script loading.\nHands-on experience optimizing script loading using techniques such as async, defer, and dynamic script injection.\nProficiency in using Postman or similar tools for API testing and debugging.\n Experience using browser developer tools to inspect network requests, debug JavaScript issues, and identify performance bottlenecks.\nUnderstanding of CORS, browser behavior, cookies, caching, and common web integration challenges.\nExperience working with at least one frontend or backend technology, such as React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Python, or Go.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n\nGood to Have\n\n Experience integrating third-party JavaScript libraries, SDKs, widgets, and external services into client websites.\n Experience working directly with clients on technical implementations and integration troubleshooting.\nUnderstanding of website performance optimization, browser rendering, lazy loading, and reducing render-blocking resources.\nExperience interpreting technical documentation and independently developing integration solutions.\nAbility to assess different implementation approaches and recommend the most efficient solution based on the client's existing architecture.\n\nIdeal Candidate Profile\n\n Has a deep, practical understanding of APIs and can explain how to integrate them efficiently into different systems.\nCan independently review API documentation, identify dependencies, and implement integrations with minimal supervision.\nUnderstands how JavaScript scripts are loaded and executed in browsers and how they affect website performance.\n Can identify the root cause of API failures, integration conflicts, and performance issues.\nIs comfortable communicating with clients, understanding their technical environments, and guiding them through implementation.\nCan balance functionality, performance, maintainability, and compatibility when recommending integration
