structured learning experiences that support employee development and operational effectiveness.\nInstructional Strategy and Multimedia Integration\nApply established instructional design methodologies, including ADDIE and SAM, to develop effective learning solutions.\nUse modern authoring tools and multimedia elements to create engaging, interactive content that improves learner participation and knowledge retention.\nSubject Matter Expert (SME) Collaboration\nPartner with internal subject matter experts, project leads, and stakeholders to translate technical information, operational procedures, and leadership standards into clear, accessible training materials.\nDefine learning objectives and ensure course content aligns with business needs and performance expectations.\nLearning Technology and Content Development\nDevelop, publish, and maintain interactive learning modules using industry-standard tools, including Articulate 360, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud.\nEnsure training materials are compatible with learning management systems (LMS) and cloud-based platforms.\nNeeds Analysis and Assessment\nConduct training needs assessments to identify learning gaps and development opportunities.\nCreate knowledge checks, quizzes, and practical assessments to evaluate learner comprehension, training effectiveness, and knowledge application.\nBranding and Content Standards\nEnsure all training materials, visual assets, and instructional documentation follow FDOT and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise branding and style guidelines.\nMaintain a consistent, professional look and feel across all learning materials.\nCloud and Asset Management\nOrganize, maintain, and version-control course files, source materials, media assets, and published training packages within secure cloud storage environments.\nMaintain accurate documentation and ensure learning assets are accessible and organized for future updates.\nQuality Assurance and Prototyping\nDevelop course storyboards, prototypes, and pilot materials to validate instructional approaches before full deployment.\nGather stakeholder and learner feedback, test course functionality, and make revisions to improve usability and effectiveness.\nProject Management and Stakeholder Communication\nManage instructional design projects from initial planning through development, testing, and deployment.\nTrack project milestones, manage competing priorities, meet established deadlines, and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.\nContinuous Improvement\nResearch and incorporate emerging trends in instructional design, learning technology, and adult learning principles.\nIdentify opportunities to improve training content, delivery methods, and the overall learning experience.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nStrong knowledge of instructional design theories, adult learning principles, and curriculum development methodologies.\nDemonstrated experience with e-learning authoring tools, including Articulate 360, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud.\nUnderstanding of user experience (UX) principles as they apply to digital learning interfaces and virtual training platforms.\nAbility to collaborate with subject matter experts and translate complex technical or operational information into clear, engaging learning content.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation, presentations, and instructional material development.\nStrong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including instructional writing and the ability to tailor content to diverse audiences.\nAbility to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative learning and development team.\nStrong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality training materials.\nPosition Requirements\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Instructional Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Education, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.\nExperience\nA minimum of three years of experience in training, including instructional content development and training
