The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, leadership experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective software solutions while ensuring development standards and quality assurance practices are followed.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead software development efforts for applications supporting complex financial business processes and cross-functional projects.\nAnalyze existing business functions and processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, effectiveness, and performance.\nAssist with process redesign, system enhancements, and business transformation initiatives.\nDesign, develop, test, implement, and maintain robust, scalable software applications.\nProvide technical guidance and oversight throughout the software development lifecycle, from initial development through integration, staging, and production.\nCollaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure code quality, reliability, and adherence to development standards.\nTroubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues using established tools and methodologies.\nCollaborate with developers, architects, business stakeholders, and other cross-functional team members to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.\nEstablish and promote development best practices, coding standards, documentation, and consistent methodologies.\nContribute to technical roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.\nTranslate business and user requirements into technical specifications and effective software solutions.\nStay current with emerging technologies, software development trends, and industry best practices.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.\nAt least 7 years of experience in software development, including lead developer or development management responsibilities.\nAt least 5 years of experience working with development technologies and relational databases, including Azure SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms.\nExperience developing and maintaining applications that support complex business processes.\nDemonstrated ability to lead development efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET technologies.\nFamiliarity with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks, including Entity Framework and NHibernate.\nExperience supporting financial systems, enterprise applications, or large-scale business transformation initiatives.\nExperience with software testing, quality assurance, and application performance improvement.\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nStrong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.\nAbility to analyze complex systems and translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to provide technical leadership, mentor development team members, and support collaboration.\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively across distributed teams.\nCommitment to software quality, continuous improvement, and development best practices.\nProfessionalism and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.\nWork Environment\nThis role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while balancing multiple priorities and project deadlines.
