{"id":2701144,"url":"https://alion.io/job/pro-matrix-facilities-engineer-data-center","title":"Facilities Engineer (Data Center)","company":{"id":256565,"name":"Pro-Matrix","domain":"promatrix.sg","url":"https://alion.io/company/promatrix","size_band":null,"is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":null,"truth_index":null},"role":"Operations","role_family":"Operations","seniority":"junior","employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Singapore"],"countries":["SG"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":{"min":2000,"max":3200,"currency":"SGD","period":"month","gross":true,"usd_annual":29940},"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":2,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-16T00:00:00Z","employer_posted_date":null,"last_verified_at":"2026-10-16T00:00:00Z","board_verified":false,"closed_at":null,"days_open":19,"trust":{"level":"not_scored","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":19},"description":"Critical System Operations & Monitoring\n• Monitor BMS/EMS/DCIM dashboards, identify alarms, and verify system status.\n• Record and trend environmental readings (temperature, humidity, pressure).\n• Perform load balancing checks across power distribution panels and PDUs.\n• Conduct routine walkthroughs of data halls, plant rooms, UPS rooms, gensets, and cooling systems.\n• Maintain accurate logs of operating parameters (temperature, humidity, load, etc.).\n• Verify lighting, access control, and environmental integrity.\n• Ensure no unauthorized personnel or safety hazards.\n• Execute controlled start-up/shutdown of plant equipment per SOP during maintenance or emergencies.\n• Coordinate load transfers during generator or UPS testing.\n\nPreventive, Predictive & Corrective Maintenance\n• Assist vendors during PM activities and ensure adherence to PTW/LOTO procedures.\n• Review and verify completion checklists and service reports.\n• Perform first-line troubleshooting on alarms or faults (e.g., reset tripped breakers, restart chillers).\n• Maintain spare parts and tool inventory for minor repairs (on-site or off-site).\n• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems (if applicable).\n• Identify repetitive faults or weak components and propose reliability improvements.\n\nIncident Response & Escalation\n• Carry out initial fault isolation and immediate containment measures.\n• Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and incident reporting post-event.\n• Follow escalation matrix and notify management according to severity.\n• Record incident details in logbook and initiate Incident Report (IR).\n\nDocumentation\n• Maintain accurate logs (manual and electronic) of meter readings, alarms, and operational parameters.\n• Maintain shift handover reports, equipment checklists, and maintenance records.\n• Support data entry into CMMS/BMS systems and ensure accuracy of historical data for trend analysis.
