experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the organisation’s operations and contribute to the development of the real estate sector in Mauritius.\nKey Responsibilities:\nIndustry Relations & Advocacy: Engage with government institutions, regulators and industry stakeholders, monitor regulatory developments and coordinate industry consultations.\nStakeholder & Member Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with members, public institutions and industry partners, facilitating collaboration and representing collective interests.\nProjects & Strategic Initiatives: Coordinate and drive industry projects, working groups, research and collaborative initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and follow-up.\nOperations & Governance: Manage REDM's day-to-day activities, coordinate Board and member meetings, and oversee administration and reporting.\nCommunication & Partnerships: Support industry communications, strategic partnerships, networking opportunities and events.\nCandidate Profile:\nIdeally 8-10 years of relevant experience in stakeholder engagement, industry relations, project management, business development, corporate affairs or related fields.\nGood understanding of the Mauritian business, regulatory and instiutional environment.\nStrong communication, relationship-building, organisational and project management skills.\nAbility to engage confidently with senior business leaders and public institutions.\nProactive, autonomous, hands-on and results-oriented.\nExperience in industry organisations or public-private sector engagement would be an advantage.\nIndependence & Impartiality: Ability to represent the collective interests of REDM's members with complete impartiality, free from any actual or perceived conflicts
