Proficiency with Omron, Mitsubishi and Rockwell PLCs is an asset.\nResponsibilities\nDevelopment of Programming and troubleshooting of PLCs, HMIs, Motion control, Vision, Drives, Robots and Safety applications.\nSetup and Configuration of system network architecture between all devices both internal and external to the system.\nTrouble shooting of electrical, programming and pneumatics.\nWork closely with Project and Technical Managers, and all parties involved on a project to ensure successful completion of the project on time and on budget, while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.\nProvide onsite Technical Support at customer’s facilities for various activities such as troubleshooting automation systems, Product Presentations or Technical training.\nDocumentation of program changes and creation of manuals for machines.\nCreate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for control systems.\nDemonstrate ability to accept overall project responsibility\nFollow company standards for programming and project design\nMaintain a Project/Activity Database along with a calendar\nAccurately and professionally represent Proax Technologies to customers and vendors.\nExhibit professional, respectful interaction with the customers, vendors and team members at all times.\nFlexible to adopt other responsibilities as deemed necessary by management\nWork Experience Requirements\n5+ years of experience in custom automation.\nMust be willing and able to travel to work on customer sites, locally and internationally\nUnderstanding the Machine design and build process and Electrical circuits.\nExcellent understanding of the technical fundamentals of programming of Robotics, PLC, HMI, Vison, Servo motors and drives.\nExperience with fieldbus communications setup and troubleshooting (Ethercat, EthernetIP, Modbus)\nAble to work independently and in groups.\nMust have strong decision -making skills, can work well under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.\nExcellent communication (verbal & written), interpersonal, organization and presentation skills\nProficiency with Omron, Mitsubishi and Rockwell PLCs is an asset.\nProficiency in Structured Text, Visual Basic or SQL is an asset\nProficiency with ABB robots and Robot studio simulations is an asset.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree or Technologist Diploma in Mechatronics,
