Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Accurately count, record, and scan inventory for discrepancies. Perform unpacking, put aways, and picking tasks. Load and unload trucks and arrange for the transportation of products.\nThis is an on-site role at our warehouse at 6700 Millcreek Drive, Mississauga, ON L5N 8B3;\nJob Duties / Responsibilities\nDetermine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures and rates \nCreate daily shipping reports; create and print picking slips; and file all paperwork in proper file cabinets\nReceive, unpack, and examine incoming shipments; reject damaged items, record shortages, and arrange to rectify damages and shortages\nUtilize RF scanners to accurately perform order picking and put aways \nMaintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves and inventory; count accurately\nEnsure that all shipments are sent out and/or received in a timely fashion\nTrack, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments\nPromptly load and unload trucks\nEngage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude\nCommunicate with our purchasing/sales department to resolve issues promptly\nParticipate in regular inventory count\nMaintain a clean and neat warehouse and surrounding area\nBreakdown boxes and recycle in the compactor\nFollow safety procedures and company policies, including use of personal protective equipment\nOther related duties as assigned\nRequirements / Skills\nHigh attention to details\nExcellent organizational skills\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nExperience working in a fast-paced environment \nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite software and Excel\nEducational Requirements\nHigh School Graduate or Equivalent\nCompensation\nExpected Compensation: $35,000 - $48,000 per year.
