Candidate will be responsible for ensuring that equipment is functioning correctly and that health and safety protocols are adhered to. To be successful as a Shop Supervisor you must be able to multitask and oversee several operations at a time.\nJob Duties / Responsibilities\nCoordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope\nOversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project\nImplement, control and review the production schedule\nAssist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility\nEnsure resource availability and allocation\nSet and monitor quality standards of products\nDevelop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress\nMeasure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques\nPreparing and updating the project schedule and delegate the work to the team based on individual strength, skill sets and experience levels\nMake decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement\nSchedule regular maintenance for equipment\nImplement cost control programs\nOrdering and purchasing the required material and equipment\nInventory management, cycle count, periodic count etc.\nManage shipping and receiving of production items\nReporting any non conformances related to products and shipments\nEnsure implementation and adherence to health and safety regulations are met\nManage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders\nGuiding designers through their projects by reviewing and approving the design and making sure the quality is up to standard.\nTrain personnel on new equipment and review all equipment and safety procedures based on necessity and scheduled performance reviews\nEnsure workplace is safe and clean through task delegation and educating personnel\nPerform other related duties as assigned\nWork Experience Requirements / Skills\nMinimum 3 years of production control supervisory experience required\nKnowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques\nExcellent organizational and time management skills\nProblem solving abilities and conflict management\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nEducational Requirements\nA Degree or Post-Secondary education in Mechanical, Industrial, or a related technical field.\nProficient in MS Office Suite software; Advance Excel\nCompensation\nExpected Compensation: $55,000 - $75,000 per year. Compensation will be determined based on the experience, skills and qualifications and falls within the expected range for this role.\nWe use No AI in our recruitment process.
