Come build with us and make a real difference in the lives of our patients!\nWhat you will do\nWork across teams to rapidly transform key requirements into front-end releases that meaningfully improve how patients engage with our product\n\nCreate APIs, laboratory integrations, bioinformatic tooling, and ML infrastructure using Python, Django, PostgreSQL databases, and AWS services\n\nDevelop the phenotyping product and biotech data platform frontends in React & Typescript\n\nRegularly review your team’s pull requests and technical proposal documents to maintain high standards and architectural quality\n\nPresent your work to relevant stakeholders, monitoring outcomes, and integrating patient feedback\n\nContribute to a culture of continuous improvement at a high velocity by optimizing development processes\n\nOwn business goals and writing technical design specifications to find more patients, grow revenue, and increase margins\n\nCollaborate with Product and other business teams to implement solutions which drive customer value\n\nWork with cross-functional stakeholders to refine business processes and develop software to automate those processes\n\nWho you are\nWe are looking for a few specific things that will help you succeed in this role:\nProven experience developing full-stack applications, with a front-end focus and a passion for shipping high quality code at velocity\n\nExperience in a range of software languages and frameworks included in our tech stack:\nLanguages: Python (Django) and Typescript (React)\n\nTools/Infrastructure: PostgreSQL, AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions\n\nExperience designing and building scalable systems used by external users\n\nTrack-record of solving extremely difficult, ambiguous problems\n\nExcellent communication skills with ability to can convey your ideals clearly to engineers and non-engineers alike!\n\nSome things that are not required, but you will learn on the job:\nExpertise with healthcare data, bioinformatics, genetics, ML infrastructure, or growth marketing\n\nExpertise in HIPAA compliance and security best practices\n\nExpertise in product development practices such as user interviews and product analytics\n\nAs with all new hires at Probably Genetic, you will also need to be:\nA good person.
