You are also responsible to enter batch/lot specific information correctly and accurately in PCLe.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO (OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)\nOperate various packaging machines and equipment within established parameters.\nPerform assigned duties in a manner that adheres to Safety, Quality, and cGMP policies and procedures.\nPulls/pushes boxes of product on/offline and/or pallets using pallet jack, as necessary.\nAssures a safe working environment and wears appropriate safety equipment and apparel at all times, as well as alerting supervision to potential or actual unsafe conditions.\nOperate, clean, and inspect equipment.\nComplete effective and efficient changeovers.\nPerform and document line clearances before and after the running of each batch/lot.\nPerform visual inspection of product codes, lot numbers, expiration dates, etc.\nResponsible for monitoring quality and accuracy of the production operations.\nAssure that the packaged product meets all specifications.\nPerform the sanitation of the equipment and area, including disassembly and assembly of equipment.\nMaintains a clean and organized work environment and strives to meet daily production goals.\nPull product samples as required and perform quality inspections on the product and packaging.\nPerform daily, routine inspection of material handling equipment.\nExecute preventive maintenance activities and inspections on equipment.\nEnter batch/lot information in PCLe, including productivity measures, raw materials used/returned, changeovers, cleaning, etc.\nRequirements\nWHAT YOU BRING (MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS)\n High school diploma or GED.\n 1+ years of manufacturing or packaging experience preferred, or successful completion of PCL Packaging Trainee program. Experience in a cGMP facility a plus.\n Positive attitude and willingness to learn.\n Ability to follow SOPs and departmental procedures.\n Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately record information.\n Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.\n Comfortable with performing basic math calculations and working with computers.\n Ability to routinely lift and or move loads of up to 50 lbs. with the use of pallet jacks and or other mechanical aids.
