The Opportunity That Awaits You:

Reporting to the Vice President of US Sales, the Head of Therapy Development is responsible forthe development of all sales activities in the assignedareawhile achieving profitability and growth targets in line with PROCEPT’s vision and values. Thehead is responsible forrecruiting, hiring, training,developing, and management of theTherapy Development Managers.

What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:

  • Execute National Sales Strategy resulting in increasedutilizationacross the US

  • Participatein national sales meetings

  • Develop metrics with Vice President of US Sales tomonitorUS sales performance to goals

  • Drive field level activities to cultivate new accounts while growing business at existing accounts driving sustainable growth

  • Manage deployment of key resourcesacross US to drive business performance

  • Adhereto monthly reports analyzing regional business performance

  • Develop key relationships in targeted facilities

  • Foster the development of key opinion leaders withinthe US to create strong corporate relationship

  • Drive Achievement of National Sales Goals

  • Provideexpertisein clinical settings and at convention / sales meetings to promote sales and further PROCEPTBioRobotics’ reputation in the marketplace

  • Provide updates to theVice President of US Salesregardingcompetition, product use, clinical updates,reimbursementand other important business metrics

  • Conduct regular field sales visits with Sales Management and Sales Representatives toassistin sales execution and professional development of the team

  • Conduct product presentations or instruction to small and large groups to promote adoption and increasedutilizationat the customer level

  • Provide field support in areas of product reimbursement & product complaint handling

  • Adhere to performance management disciplines of weekly 1:1 calls, weekly/bi-weekly team calls, quarterly field rides with follow up, bi-annual team meetings, and annual performance reviews

  • Participate as an integral member of the management team that develops, delivers, and improves programs and training events that incorporate instructional design best practices in areas such as selling skills, business acumen, clinical excellence, and technology mastery

  • Support key business projects asrequestedthat enhancetraining capabilities and outcomes for Sales, Professional Education, Marketing, Clinical Regulatory, and Research and Development

  • Has routine communication and mentoring with the Field Sales Training (FST) team

  • Responsible to complete special projects as assigned bythe Vice President of US Sales

  • Cultivate andmaintainpositive relationships throughout PROCEPTBioRobotics

  • Maintain trained status for, andcomply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPTBioRoboticsQuality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance

  • Understand and adhere to the PROCEPTBioRoboticsQuality and EHS policies

TheQualificationsWe Need You to Possess

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor’s degree - four-year degree from accredited reputable institution, MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • Start-up company experience selling game changing technology

  • A minimum of8years of experience with sales management, and/or training or marketing organization isrequired

  • High levelof technical/clinical product knowledge

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Must haveproventrack recordof participation leading/teaching at organizational meetings.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a cross functional team memberisrequired

  • Excellent presentation (platform) skills arerequired

  • Proven ability to be a self-starter and goal oriented isrequired

  • Excellent interpersonal,writtenand oral communication skills arerequired

  • Must thrive in complex environment and be able to multi-task and prioritize

  • Strong local relationships within the healthcare community in specified geographic area

  • Leadership skills asdemonstratedthrough past professional performance in the medical device arena, and involvement in sports, professionalclubsor associations

  • Ability to read,analyzes, andinterpretsgeneral business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

  • Ability towritereports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Level of competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other internal groups, clients, customers, and thegeneral public

The Qualifications We Would Like You to Possess

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • Prior experience leading sales managers is preferred

  • Prior peoplemanagement experience is notrequired, but extensive mentoring by experiencedmanagerwould be recommended if not
